We invite all who realize the neccessity of nonviolent civil resistance to come take part in the on-going campaign begun this day. The Power is in we the people. The next step is Wednesday March 29th Strategy Session 7:30 PM - 9:30 PM
American Friends Service Committee 980 N. Fair Oaks Avenue (Cross Street is Mountain) Pasadena 91103
All peace and social justice advocates are urged to come and be part of the next step in this ongoing and determined campaign of nonviolent resistance to end the U.S. occupation of Iraq.
We will meet on Wednesday March 29th, to dialogue + evaluate the action of March 20th. We will move forward and keep the momentum strong by planning our next step. Peace and justice advocates, religious communites, labor organizations and all who realize the necessity of nonviolent resistance, please come and contribute your input and support for this protracted effort.
We must practice nonviolent civil resistance in order to change the direction of our world from one of disparity and destruction to one that ensures equal opportunity and justice for all. This means that people, acting together, directly confronting the injustices that harm our human family will create the future we want for ourselves and our children. Nonviolent confrontation is called for not out of a temporary circumstance but because nonviolence must be continuously practiced for people to know peace and freedom.
