Some observations about this protest:
- Very light presence of uniformed police, (no accounting for UCs however)
- March took only one side of the street, which allowed for more visability and contact with the public.
- Crowd was diverse, noticeably more than past Hollywood protests.
- No reports of incidences with police or arrests.
- The protest was well covered on local TV news channels.
- The bike contingent was a good idea.
- The rally had some really fun Punk bands and people were dancing in the street.
Despite the urgency of the reasons for the protest, the event was positive and peaceful.
Couldn't be at the actual event. Seeing ahd hearing this video made me feel a part of the action. I drove around a neighborhood for five minutes tooting my horn and yelling liar, liar. Got to see the beautiful sunset... maybe symbolic....thanks indy media
