Schwarzenneger's most noteworthy "feat" as Gov. is the execution of Tookie Willi

The "Govennator" Arnould Schwarzenegger gave the people (fans) who voted him into office just what they wanted (or deserved)?

Is it really all that suprising that Arnould Schwarzenneger's most noteworthy "feat" as Governor of California is the execution of Tookie Williams? He was voted into office by his fans who knew and believed in him as a (Hollywood created) Hero!

Arnould's "Hero" deeds in the movies had to do with killing and terminating people - so just because he kept following his script,Gov.Arnould now is wondering why his "fan" voters have stopped cheering for him as much as when they joyously and overwhelmingly elected him? He's doing exactly what he did in the movies - so now all of a sudden, why don't they get it? What aspect of "Hollywood Hero" don't they understand?

Confused

by Confused Thursday, Jan. 26, 2006 at 8:27 AM

Is enforcing the law a bad thing? You may agree or disagree with the law and that is ok however, what laws are the excutive branch of government supposed to enforce and which are the ones they are supposed to ignore?

Example: Is the Bush administration guilty of ignoring the Constitution over wire taps? Maybe he did not favor the law so he chose to ignore it. Should we give him a pass? If so, What would you say if the Bush administration started aggressively enforceing the immigration laws? Most on this board advocate for him to ignore it.

If your not happy with the death penalty you can contact your representative or get lt on a ballot for the people to vote on and change.

The focus was on Arnould!

by k.hawley Friday, Feb. 24, 2006 at 7:56 PM

The focus of the article was on the "achievements" of Governor Schwartzenneger!

As far as the Bush Admin. goes they break or contravene or create new laws to suit their agenda at their leisure! Truth and justice can mean anything they want it to! God Bless Amerika!
