Using a tactic that could best be described a silly the Save Our State organization has posted details for a rally that never took place.
![SOS fakes Alhambra R...](http://la.indymedia.org/uploads/2006/01/fakes_caption3.jpgmid.jpg) fakes_caption3.jpg, image/jpeg, 640x270
The invisible rally supposedly took place in Alhambra on Sunday, January 8th but the photographic evidence presented here disputes their account. http://www.saveourstate.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=6891&st=0entry67075 Two photographs shown here are provided as evidence. The photo on the left clearly shows the SOS person known as Black Cats In Ontario. It was taken yesterday, Saturday, 1/7/06 in Glendale. In the photograph he is seen with relatively short hair. The photograph on the right shows Joe Turner and to his right is once again the man known as Black Cats In Ontario. That photo clearly shows him sporting quite brown locks of quite long hair. Although he is seen from the back in the photo it is more than obvious that it is the same person. Besides that simple evidence is the fact that the Home Depot in Alhambra is on Marengo Ave. which is a two lane road. The pretend Alhambra photo clearly shows the SOSers standing next to a road which is 3 lanes in one direction. Note the painted lane dividers. SOS activist “Last Great Hope” provides these details of the rally that never happened: “By my count we had 23 attendees at one point and even a couple of shoppers hung around with us and actually supported what we were doing. They didn't know how knee deep in illegal alien abetting Home Depot is. They said they would take their business to Lowe's in the future. I say we hit Alhambra again soon.” Joe Turner replies with the comment: “I must admit that it is nice to have a rally from time to time without the goons.” http://www.saveourstate.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=6891&st=0entry67075 The above accounts read more like fantasy than reality.

Here's the same pic taken from a thread entitled Burbank Protest (May 1, 2005). Was posted by Last Great Hope the same guy that tried to fake the photo for the Alhambra protest today. http://www.saveourstate.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=1481&hl= photo is called: http://alhambra-insider.info/Protest/Burbank_5-01-05/rally9.jpg Link for the photo: http://alhambra-insider.info/Protest/Burbank_5-01-05/rally9.jpg

I don't understand the point of their Potemkin Protest. It's obviously fake. Now, it'll just be a permanent joke: SOS is the anti-immigrant group that cooks up fake stories about demonstrations that never happened, because they keep getting out-demo'd by the opposition.
I bet they'll try to play it off as some kind of joke.

I'd hate to be Last Great Hope right now. I'm sure this was his idea. He's full of great ideas, like bringing SOS to Alhambra in the first place last June.

That's some nice photoshopping. There are a few details you got wrong, however.
1) A socialist general wouldn't use the term "infidels." Socialists were considered infidels.
2) IMC people are pretty clueless about the NFL season. We hate uniforms, unless it's a black hooded sweatshirt.
3) As long as LGH lives in Alhambra, there may be a "Nazi" in Alhambra.
4) The IMC world map shows the South on top, and the North on the bottom, and is drawn all in black with a red and green outline.

SOS lieutenant "Last Great Dope" is Chris Spellman of Alhambra. However, he often goes by an Hispanic surname. Spellman is average height, 30-something with short graying hair. He "looks" Mexican. LGD started the "infamous Gallery of Goons". He's a nasty a**hole.

Love it. It's very telling when these people have to play pretend and try to get the good guys to go somewhere else. }:-} It proves beyond any reasonable doubt that the SOSMM/AN/SF/et al. people don't want _real_ Americans opposing what they stand for to the point they try to trick the real Americans into not showing up where the SOSMM/AN/SF/et al. show their disgusting faces.
Shows that America still works, that the American ideal of equality, human rights, and justice is still held strongly by most Americans.
My opinions only and only my opinions.

You know, Joe Turner built his reputation, such as it is, on hanging with Nazis and on his "in your face style of activism."
When a group violates it's guiding tenets, it's in deep trouble. Subconsciously, at the very least, it's members start to feel "dirty," dishonest, like cheaters and cowards.
This kind of thing leads, however slowly, to the internal decay of the member's coherence as a group. It starts to unravel, because it causes people to feel shame, instead of pride (even if what they feel pride in is deeply sick in itself, as it is with SOS.)
So these people who've been so puffed up about their "in your face" style, now have to deal with being "behind your back" cowards.
Well, their leader is inexperienced, so what did you expect.
Now he's violated his own (however distorted) "integrity" before the whole group, and there's no taking it back.
The real nature of the SOS membership comes clear - they ARE cowards and cheats and liars.
And Joe Turner is no longer the White Knight they thought he was, so they can no longer hide their self contempt by identifying with and idolizing their little fuerher.
Joe will eventually become a "victim" of his own followers self hatred.
And of his own self hatred. It's that self hatred of course, that he projects onto us, onto Mexicans.
Face it, there is a part of himself Joe wants to see deported.
Sooner or later, we'll just have to oblige him. After all, it's his only hope.

> When a group violates it's guiding tenets, > it's in deep trouble.
That's true and traditionally the motivation for violating one's own group's supposedly guidelines is because the group finds their aims, goals, and desires aren't being met because their plans are failing. Zero progress means that disgruntled and desperate followers throw off the false sugar coating and we get to see what they're really made of.

Just thought I would make sure we batted 100%...like usual.
I am just going to let you think about the why's of the Alhambra rally, and not spill the beans on why we protested there. We all know that none of you went there to really see if we were in fact there on Sunday, so its all conjecture on your parts.
Remember, it has alway been anytime, anyplace. That will never change. But, as usual, we are the ones that determine the time and place that you all will show up. That also will never change. I do not like the word idiot. But, since I am sure that you socialists and comms know the term, I will infact use the Leninist term 'useful idiots' on you, becuzz it applies.
We will contiue to use you until we are finished with the illegal immigration issue, then we will move on without you. Then, you all will be VERY bored, just like you were before we graced your lives !

I liked Ixachilanka's post. It's true -- people are projecting.
Border Raven, for example, has some odd logic that blames poor Mexicans for the actions of rich Canadians who eliminated his job.
Don Silva and the SOS crew also has odd logic. If the demo in Alhambra happened, they would have posted the photos of that demo, not of another demo.
There's a name for what LGH did: The Big Lie.
From Wikipedia:
The phrase Big Lie refers to a propaganda technique which originated with Adolf Hitler's 1925 autobiography Mein Kampf. In that book Hitler wrote that people came to believe that Germany lost World War I in the field due to a propaganda technique used by Jews who were influential in the German press. This technique, he believed, consisted of telling a lie so "colossal" that no one would believe anyone "could have the impudence to distort the truth so infamously". The first documented use of the phrase "big lie" is in the corresponding passage: "in the big lie there is always a certain force of credibility".¹
Later, Joseph Goebbels put forth a slightly different theory which has come to be more commonly associated with the phrase big lie. In this theory, the English are attributed with using a propaganda technique where in they had the mendacity to "lie big" and "stick to it".²

I really need to collect all the latest information posted to LAIM and get it moved over to the Dark Wind web site so that it's all indexed and easier to locate.

You just can not get over that, eh Fred ?
lol. You know, at the recent Glendale gigs where the Mexica movement showed up, I would call other goons on the signs that the Mexica guys had, and they almost stumbled over themselves to tell me that they were not with them ! Why is that Fred ? I answered, 'okay, I will give you the benefit of the doubt, and take you at your word. I will not lump you in with those guys racist signage and proclamations, but you do not do the same for us.'
More goon hypocrisy.
Face it, there is not connection, and there NEVER has been. We did not even know there was a 'stormfront' before they glommed onto us. Hello ?"

What Don posted on Stormfront:
_________________ "Hi there,
I just wanted to add, since I have been involved with MMP since the beginning, still am, and got back from the Campo gig a 2 days ago, that from my perspective the reason is simple. Let me back up a bit.
In todays society it seems as if everyone is carrying around their personal beliefs with them at all times like a little pet dog in their shirt pocket. Many W/N's and etc are just the same way. You would like some kind of alliance, but if the truth be know, there is none to be had becuzz MMP is not really a group the same way say Vangaurd or some other groups are. MMP is simply Americans of all backgrounds coming together to send a message to that currupt King George. Its all just people showing up. There can be no group to group tie becuzz it is not really a group in any political or ideological way.
Here is the deal. If anyone wants to be involved, you just show up and leave all the rest at home. I have to do this with my beliefs. I am not white sep, or any other things related to white groups, but i have my own things as a Christian that I must leave aside for the 'cause' as we call it. You just show up, and expect no glory. What you can expect is dust and lots of it. Heat ansd sweat. Work , and the appreciation from others, and the feeling of accomplishment that goes along with it all.
It is a very satisfying experience to say the least.
Its not about group relationships, its about doing the job that Bush and Congress knowingly refuse to do, and nothing else." _______________________
Okay fair enough. Personally if I knew someone was a white separatist or anything related, I wouldn't accept their efforts no matter what.
