TV Cameras catpure and broadcast footage of Costa Mesa PD beating, dragging, and brutalizing Mexica Activst while speaking out against anti-immigrant policies
 coyotl__s_release.jpg, image/jpeg, 2560x1920
Tuesday January 3rd, activists from the Tonantzin Collective spoke out at the Costa Mesa City Council meeting voicing extreme distress and concern over their anti-immigrant policies.
During this protest, one of the founding members of the collective spoke up in during his comments to the council, at which time Costa Mesa Police Department to tackle, drag, grab by neckhold, kick and beat activist, dragging him outisde the chambers, ALL while Channel 34 News cameras were recording, and in front of dozens of screaming and horrified witnesses including crying women and children.
The activist, known as Coyotl, was taken into custody, then transported to the hospital and released from custody at approximately 1 a.m. from CMPD with 3 Misdemeanor counts filed against him, and injuries yet to be disclosed.
Please note that the author of this news brief was not present at the time of this event, and is only reporting off of the news coverage viewed live from Telemundo News Van / Cam, ABC 7 Eyewitness News, CBS 2 News, and other mainstream news network all present at the court and jail house up until or after 11pm who were still waiting for word on Coyotl's release or condition.
It is important to mention that all of the above mentioned newscasts, including 2 other news vans, broadcasted several live reports thru out the evening on this event, repeatedly showing Coyotl being brutalized as described above.
It is furthermore worth mentioning that the same city council meeting and event was visited by several bullhorn equipped Minutemen who were there to applaud Costa Mesa City for their recent change in policies that would train all police officers with special immigration service procedure and initiate intensified scapegoating of all Mexican appearing residents.

Coyotl, wasn't beat, that I could see, either personally or in any of the video. He was restrained, as needed to control him.
Also, phuk minutemen, since you admit to not being there, or personally witnessing any of this, it would be best for you and everyone else, if you would stay out of it and not make false accusations, or attempt to start a riot.
Let's look at your post:
//Tuesday January 3rd, activists from the Tonantzin Collective spoke out at the Costa Mesa City Council meeting voicing extreme distress and concern over their anti-immigrant policies. \
Ummm, the policy is not "anti-immigrant". We love documented immigrants, because they follow the laws. We do not like undocumented or "illegal-immigrants, who flood, and invade out country.
//During this protest, one of the founding members of the collective \
Coyotl Tezcalipoca, 25
//spoke up in during his comments to the council, at which time Costa Mesa Police Department to tackle, drag, grab by neckhold, \
He was not interrupted durring his comments. Everyone gets 3-minutes to speak.
//kick and beat activist,\
I didn't see beating or kicking. The police are trained to place people into holds, and apply pressure to gain compliance to their orders.
// dragging him outisde the chambers, \
Yes, he was dragged. At this point he was on the ground resisting.
//ALL while Channel 34 News cameras were recording, and in front of dozens of screaming and horrified witnesses including crying women and children. //
Nice play for the emotional.

> We love documented immigrants,
> because they follow the laws.
There's that Republican IQ again. The unfortunate individual probably expects people to believe him, to, just like all of Bush's endless lies, atrocities, and treasons -- a perfect Republican role model.
The issue isn't illegal immigration. The issue is skin hue and race hate predicated upon other people's skin hue. We don't see neo-Nazis standing along Canadian border town sidewalks waving Nazi and Confederate flags claiming they're against "e;law breaking"e; and we don't see it because most Canadians have light skin.
It's all so telling -- direct observation and evidence coupled with all the SOSMM rhetoric on their web sites debunk the notion that these unfortunate individuals are against "e;illegal immigration"e; because "e;they're breaking the law."e;
It's ironic. The same individuals that proclaim they're against law breakers are nearly always the same ones who support, defend, and applaud George Bush's crimes against humanity and treason against the American people.
Bush gets to do it because he's a white Christian.
And speaking of Christianity, "e;What ye do to the least of these, my brotheren, ye do also unto me."e; Christians who demonize and hate other peoiple solely because they have dark skin should consider what Jesus has to say about what it.
My opinions only and only my opinions.

Stop your distortions. Costa Mesa is doing the right thing, and they won't be the last to do it. Most of us here in CA are rather fed up with illegals coming here without permission. I'd like to see you try to go to Mexico and live and work there without permission. You would be arrested, beaten, and deported. Don't argue- you know it's true. Immigrants are welcome here. Lawbreakers are not. If you want to come to America then go to the nearest US Consulate and take a fucking number. When your number is up, we'll call you. If you are qualified to come here, we'll let you in. It's OUR choice, not yours.

To be honest, I had some speculation that would parallel BorderRaven's criticism of this report as well. But I didn't witness the arrest incident in person so I didn't comment on that. I think BR was inside at the time though.
As for the person who was arrested, his real name, I saw him identified with yet a third name on the news last night. I forgot which channel, I think ABC 7.

Okay that name was Francisco Jorge. I think the news got him mixed up with the guy on the Minuteman side, the guy with a Cuban background. He's known as Frank Jorge, I think he usually goes by that name. He was referred to as Francisco as well.

From what I saw in the video clip, hosted on WatchDog's website, is that Benito asked the officers to not touch him. From that point would he have eventually walked out? Maybe, maybe not. Maybe not right away. I'm not sure. But the officers took hold of him and walked out of the room, and obviously Benito had to walk out as well because of that. Perhaps they didn't give Benito a chance to calm down, after it looks like they may have aggravated him after he just gave an emotional speech, and then walk out. The mayor, who whoever spoke in response to Benito's request for people to stand, called for a break. The television broadcast cut to a break, according to the television monitor outside. Okay then. Make it clear. Benito could have been given the chance to realize that, then walk out. I know the audience standing up isn't okay apparently with the city council, but that's nothing compared to the reactions and the commotion that resulted outside the building.

I just quickly look over your website. it's interesting you have a clothing which states multiculturalism sucks. Can you tell this nation is not white and will never be? I heard Stormfront is recuiting people or are you in that organization or any fringe group already? You can feel welcome and also, you can take Lupe Mereno, Jorge Frank too.

"TV Cameras catpure and broadcast footage of Costa Mesa PD beating, dragging, and brutalizing Mexica Activist while speaking out against anti-immigrant policies."
Is Mexica "pro-immigrant"? Yet, they say I am an illegal-immigrant, though I was born here (Pomona), after my parents migrated here from Missouri.
Is Mexica, for "open borders"? Yet, they complain about Columbus and all of the explorers, who came before and after him. They claim to be of the decendents who lived here first, when all of our DNA originated from Central Africa.
It don't matter who got here first, what matters is who did what to make it what we have today, and what it will be tomorrow.
get over it, and stop wasting resources, time and energy.

They have a website and everything.
I'm sure they're just as concerned about who did what to make this country what it is today.

Border Raven says: "What matters is who did what to make it what we have today, and what it will be tomorrow"
FYI Jerk, Immigrants build this country so did African slaves on land stolen from the Indians. The wealth of this country and it's rulers was also amassed through imperialism and capitalist exploitation.
You can't just run around and say that "we built this country, get out" because it's total bullshit. You guys are a bunch of blamers, you blame poor immigrants for the ills of a system that allowed the genocide of Indians, slavery and imperialism.
Actually, the system didn't just allow it - - - It is it!
Have you ever heard of the term blowback?
