The World Can’t Wait - Drive Out the Bush
Regime is establishing an ENCAMPMENT starting at 3pm, October
13 in Lafayette Park at the doorstep of the White House. On behalf
of a growing movement, the encampment will serve notice that November
2, 2005 will mark the beginning of the end of the Bush regime.
On November 2, the first anniversary of
Bush’s re-election, a massive day of resistance is being organized
all over this country. The Call is going out: No Work, No School,
Gather in the downtowns and town squares and set out from there.
World Can’t Wait (WCW), launched less than 3 months ago, now has
organizers in nearly 40 cities making plans for November 2.
The WCW countdown encampment will bring
in rotating and growing crew - national voices of conscience who
will speak out on all the reasons this regime must go. This will
be the on the ground nerve center for the movement to drive out
the Bush regime. Many surprises to come over the 20 days. Themes:
NO Theocracy; NO Genocide (a salute to October 14/15 to the Millions
More gathering on the Mall); NO Intolerance (a celebration of
gay marriage); NO Forced Motherhood; NO Suppression of Science
& Destroying the Environment, and more. (schedule TBA).
A Counter-Briefing will be held everyday
day at 12 noon at the Encampment where the world will hear The
Reason of the Day to Drive Out the Bush Regime. The encampment
will be taped for webcam, viewable at www.worldcantwait.com.
Counting down the days until November 2,
the encampment will declare to the waiting people of the world:
“George W. Bush Does Not Represent Us and We Will Drive Him Out.”
