Saenz dedicates a flag to the United Resistance of Garden Grove.
garden_grove.png, image/png, 350x225
Yet another commemorative flag by Ernest M. Saenz, dedicated to the United Resistance of Garden Grove.
Garden Grove stood fast as violence erupted at their resistance against racism.
The people of Garden Grove are world renown for their earth friendly policies. Their city laws actually promote the planting of trees versus cutting them down. It takes a consensus of neighbors before a tree can be removed from city streets.
Considering that the people of Garden Grove so strongly protect trees and the environment, how could the Anties (Anti-Illegal Immigrationist) think that these people would not come to protect the most vulnerable of humans among us?
The City’s motto “Absit Invidia” means, “Let there be no ill will” and Garden Grove’s United Resistance proved that they live by this code of honor on May 25th, 2005.
The flag is adorned with the Tree of Life symbol in the left triangular field. The colors of the flag are the city’s municipal colors; the GG is the municipal logo.

This is a united effort.
The many flags represent our diversity.
This united resistance is no longer just a Chicano thing; it's a people thing, because racism affects all of us.

Right. I'm a white Capitalist who dislikes illegal immigration for the most part -- but I'm totally against racism and white supremists and everything they stand for. They don't represent the values that America stands for.
Once this latest wave of Klan activity returns to the slime from which it came, I would expect most of the anti-hate activists to likewise return to their usual hobbies and day-to-days.
Still, it's a _good_ thing that racist hate mongers rise up and expose themselves from time to time, in my opinion, otherwise Americans become increasingly of the opinion that such people and ideologies are a thing of the past. When they stand up and allow real Americans to see them, it shows Americans that there's still a long ways to go toward ending such hate.
My opinions only, of course.

The people of GG? and that being who? You're going to still stand by the false allegations of people who faked being injured (it was caught on tape)
Now another flag that's suppose to represent GG.. My uncles parents lived off brookhurst. I know the city wel as I know most every neighborhood in the southland...
Is it no a hispanic city not to ever mention the cotributions of the enslaving gringo?

Thank you for your support..and the kind words. Liberated under another meaningless banner, that does not represent the people of Garden Grove.. I have an idea, why don't you take your Aztlan banner an fly it proudly in Little Saigon, and see if you are welcomed.
How very telling that you would take offense at my anger of outsiders deciding what my state, and communities that I grew up in, would a have any decisions on how this state should handle the influx of illegal aliens.
Pete, thank you and have a great life.
