On Thursday

by One Snake Thursday, Jun. 16, 2005 at 10:06 PM

The meeting is taking place on Thursday. Careful though, since a Mexican is about as safe in south Orange County at night as an African-American was in Mississippi during the 60's...

Lets Go Minutemen

by Proud American Friday, Jun. 17, 2005 at 12:55 PM

No Illegal Aliens need Apply! I don't care what country they come from, just come through the front door and without cutting in line. Whether you are a Mexican, British, German, Chinese or what ever Welcome to U.S.A., but do it legally. We all are aliens from somewhere else including so called Native Americans.

Hoodless

by Fredriuc L. Rice Friday, Jun. 17, 2005 at 4:17 PM
frice@skeptictank.org

What's interesting about this round of racist hatred is that they're not wearing hooded cloaks this time. I suspect it's because they feel emboldened by having a fascist mass murdering war criminal in the White House and a firmly right-wing extremist mass media, one that will take even the Hal Netkin vehicular assault against peaceful anti-hate protesters and lie about it for them.

My opinions only, of course.

Fred, you're a lunatic

by Hellfire USA Friday, Jun. 17, 2005 at 5:02 PM

So, they let you out of that straightjacket again, eh?

Get it through your diseased head, most immigration reform activists HATE the President. He is much more a part of YOUR globalist, bordeless camp than ours. Bush is among are biggest enemies in this war to save our country from the third world onslaught.

And calling the people who assaulted Hal Netkin in GG "peaceful" is outrageously funny.

Back to your padded cell!

Typical rightard

> So, they let you out of that straightjacket again, eh?

Translation: The rightard couldn't address the issues.

Why is it these SOSMM clowns don't denounce their ANaziP / Aryan Nations / Storm Front / National Allliance et al. doplegangers? And as yet I've not seen one of these SOSMM clowns denounce Hal Netkin's violence.

Speaks volumes about what these racists actually stand for, doesn't it?

----Whoever you are, "Rice" do tell us what world you live in where a "right wing extremist mass media" reigns supreme.

---On this planet, the Right has 3 small outlets: talk radio, one cable news channel and the internet. The rest of the media is all liberal lies. CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, CNN, NY and LA Times...all liberal owned and operated.

----It's unbecoming for one slightly older than me to be a raving hippie extremist. Learn to play it cool, like me.

Actually....

by johnk Saturday, Jun. 18, 2005 at 4:00 AM

The MMP *has* denounced these groups. The problem is that some of the volunteers are from these groups.

They come because they agree with the premise of the MMP. It fits into their larger goals of eliminating all immigration, deporting immigrants, and segregating society. They also like the extreme patriotism and militarism.

I think they consider these kinds of events to be recruiting opportunities.

Left and Right on Globalization

by johnk Saturday, Jun. 18, 2005 at 4:32 AM

"Get it through your diseased head, most immigration reform activists HATE the President. He is much more a part of YOUR globalist, bordeless camp than ours. Bush is among are biggest enemies in this war to save our country from the third world onslaught."

This is somewhat true. Leftists generally are not isolationists (though some anarchists are).

Leftists think the response to globalization is to create a mutual unity between the working classes in all countries. Global capital moves freely, and exploits widely -- the response should be to internationalize the popular response.

What does the right wing offer? Isolationism, but, not necessarily a cessation of US-dominated globalization. Isolationists who may hate Bush, but protest day laborers.

I don't see the connection. How can picking on day laborers hurt Bush?

Denounced Nazis?

> The MMP *has* denounced these groups. The

Where? All I've seen is the SOSMM trying to distance themselves from the known white supremists groups, and trying to scrub them off of their web sites and get them to remove their symbols at protests and stuff. I've yet to find any SOSMM web page that specifically denounces white supremicy.

What I'm seeing is public relations attempts to hide the ideologies of their core supporters but what I'm not finding is any specific denouncement of white supremicy.

Granted, I don't spend a lot of time of race hate web sites: it's too disgusting to spend much time on except in short batches. So I might simply have missed it.
