The Save Our State group plans on conducting another rally on the forth of July in Baldwin Park (http://www.saveourstate.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=1767&view=findpost&p=12207). With several weeks to prepare, it seems that they expect to get a larger group out there than before. The organizers have not finalized their plans and their is talk on their web forum of taking the planning off the public internet so that they do not "tip their hand" to Americans who want to stand against racism and discrimination. They have further raised their stakes with suggestions of obtaining CCW (Carrying Concealed Weapons) permits and bringing concealed guns at their rallies (http://www.saveourstate.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=1653&st=165). It is hard to say where their racism will lead, or whom they will attack, but without a strong showing of opposition, it is clear that they will continue to terrorize people of color all over the United States. Where this will go, no one knows, yet I am sure several hundred people will now be there to confront and stop the new Klu Klux Klan.

I've been involved in a few protests against these jerks. I know firsthand of a situation where one of them revealed to several counterdemonstrators that they were carrying a concealed firearm..

Although most of these folks are a bunch of misinformed senior citizens who have been deluded into thinking that immigrant workers are the cause for every ill in society, realize that some of them are fascist lunatics.

Keep protesting them everywhere you can. But realize that some of them are very dangerous and probably wouldn't hesitate to kill you if the opportunity arose.

If they want to bring their racist attitudes to BP, they should. I'm sure that their 4th events are well attended by a lot of people of color. Everyone likes fireworks (except for uptight homeowners who ban them).

Just print out screenshots of their racist garbage, and organize around that. Multiculturalists know racism when they see it, and SOS is pretty racist. If you have to "read between the lines" to come to a conclusion that SOS might not be racist, then, it's racist.

If a bunch of right-wing paranoids with concealed weapons show up in BP, and, a bunch of left-wing folks show up without weapons, but with the usual 4th stuff (food, food, beer, more food, and fireworks), SOS will reveal themselves to be the enemy.

Saturday the June 11th Corner of Bear Valley Road & Locust.

Northbound I-15 get off on Bear valley Rd ( Turn Right and be sure to be in right lane on off ramp ) Turning right will turn into Bear valley Rd, you will go three lights, third light is location of Home Depot. Corner of HD is an Arby’s restaurant, Bakers restaurant and a Smart and Final.

i think activists should stop whining about racists having friearms, and should get a pistol and a weapons permit.

First, I think to bring guns to a protest changes the protest into something else, usually called an armed revolt. Well there may be situations where this is justifiable, I do not see confronting the SOS group as one of them. I think it would be wrong to use guns against them for multiple reasons, and if I ever see one at a counter demonstration, I will leave quicker than I came (as I am sure most of us would).

Home Depot provides a place for day labors to make themselves available for hire. SOS is against any employment of Day Labors because they view them as all illegal Mexicans and want all non-white, non-citizens deported. It is a racist thing given their complete disregard for any other illegal other than the Mexican one (not to mention, there ARE legal immigrants from Mexico who are also Day Laborers). They stand out there, yell verbally abusive things at any Mexican they see, and then run up and harass anyone who attempts to hire them.

I also think it's because CHIRLA is associated with them.

Other journalero tents are organized by other more militant groups, and also by unions. These day laborer centers are a fringe attempt to deal with a large unorganized workforce. They have community support, because if the centers were not there, the laborers would be standing in the street or roaming the parking lot.

SOS likes to pick on those least able to defend themselves.

Ah yes, that's a good government to emulate.

I heard that there is a bus going to this location, but I am not sure where it is leaving from. Does anyone know? I have friends going there from Vegas, Pheniox, and places all over Southern California. I sure do not want to miss this one, it sounds like the counter demonstration is going to be bigger than the one in BP. Count Me In!!!!!

Well, I haven't heard about buses, but I know a lot of people who plan on going.

As far as the racists, this is supposed to be a free society, and freedom includes being able to move wherever we want. If you haven't forgotten, this is a land of immigrants (we killed off over 90% of the natives), so why is it okay for whites to come here and not for people of color?

The other point is that we fought to get ride of privilege. No longer can a person be born into royalty or into being a peasant. Opps, I guess we still can, you are either born in one place, or five miles south, I guess we haven't come that far after all. (I know white privilege is still there, I am just poking fun at them)


On a brighter note, looks like the people in Los Angeles have voiced their opposition to you and your views (SOS people). So now are you going to try to get rid of democracy? Why don't your people just pack your bags, because us white people (yes I am white) would rather live next door to a Latino than a red neck any day. Go back to Tennessee and marry your cousin so you don't pollute our gene pool (sorry if that sounds discriminatory to people from Tennessee, I know it is just another stereotype that is not true, but these people would be happier in the mountains away from civilized people anyway).
