c) The U.S. Economy is DEPENDENT upon [slave] labor from undocumented workers. Undocumented workers are not STEALING any job from the White man. They are working for far below min. wage, subhuman working standards, and many other violations that would not apply were they protected by US citizenship. The US was FOUNDED UPON SLAVERY, and continues to be dependent. It has simply undergone some "cosmetic surgery" so it no longer has such an obvious APPEARANCE of slavery: brown skinned, spanish / indigenous spkg, disempowered humans forced to work in subhuman conditions in order to survive.

d) NAFTA / FREE TRADE / WTO is *DESTROYING* the hope of indigenous / Mexican / Central Americans to sustain themselves on their own land as they have for centuries by buying out every local form of sustainability and land, patenting their recipes and crops, etc. MANY families and workers are LEAVING BEHIND their families and homes in desperate search for work to continue to support their families due to the damage the THE UNITED STATES has brought to their country and economy.
NAFTA / NORTH AMERICAN FREE TRADE AGREEMENT == everything "they" [Mexico & beyond] have is OURS [U.S.] for FREE!!

The ACLU should file for a court ordered injunction for this group to cease and desist from any further activity of this type. Also a restraining order should be placed on the group prohibiting any members from travel to any border region while in possession of a firearm.
Activists are best advised to fight this in the courts. And also to put pressure on the local DA’s and the attorney general of AZ to do their job. Because I don't anything like picketing this group or going to AZ to be human shields is going to work with these horrible people.

I looked some stuff up, and the guy organizing this was involved in some right-wing militia infighting. He's in the more racist camp, and his rival claimed to be in a less racist, more law-abiding camp. Minutemain pointed out he's got minorities in his ranks.

I was there and indymedia's reports are completely wrong. People were not "arbitrarily" or unjustly arrested, the first guy i saw arrested hit a cop in with a can of soda. the second guy was brandishing a knife. A large number of protesters were by no means acting in a "peaceful" manner as indymedia claims. I am not saying that the actions of protestors were wrong, however indymedia's reporters need to insure they are not writing ridiculously biased reports to draw sympathy, because they just look like liars.
