I was at the marcha and just wanted to make a few comments. It was beautiful to see so many young raza there... in fact the majority was under 30, showing that the new generation of Xicanos IS active and is running with the banner handed to them by the previous generation.
One sour note... photographer "Marcus" suggests that people view the "whatreallyhappened.com" website. BEWARE. That site has presented MAJOR neo-nazi and anti-Semitic material. The site has been an outspoken defender of the nazi propagandist, Ernst Zundle, who was just kicked out of Canada and sent home to Germany where he will face trial for publishing neo-nazi materials. Zundle is a holocaust denier and wrote a book entitled "The Adolph Hitler we know and Love." Whatreallyhappened has also published the opinions of the nazi-klan frontsman, David Duke.
The worst for raza is the whatreallyhappened has linked to the "brown fascists", of the "Voz de Aztlan", a bunch of super nationalist creeps who blame the Jewish people for every problem on earth. The "Voz" is NOT the voice of Xicanos, NOR of our sacred Aztlan. Those creeps publish the nazi tract, "Protocals of the Elders of Zion" as a "guide" to understanding the problems in the middle east and the world.
As raza we have been victims of racism and oppression. We cannot have a politics that scapegoats other oppressed peoples for the troubles we suffer. The Jewish people are NOT the enemies of raza... and EVERYONE should turn their backs on the ultra-rightist nationalists of "Voz de Aztlan." We don't need the right-wing goons who masquerade as antiwar "populists"... whether they are from Voz de Aztlan, whatreallyhappend.com, or from openly fascist organizers like Ernst Zundle of David Duke.
Viva la Raza! Viva la Huelga! Viva Chavez! Down with racism and fascism! El Pueblo Unidos - Hamas sera Vencidos!

i want to remember the memory of the great Ceasar chavez a great human being
in this time of border issues and concern over homeland security and illegal aliens(mexican/xicanos, etc.)
I just want to remember that guy........ (wait......yeah....unhh......hell yeah!......hmmm..)
Yes,... I remember that he took our American Mexican heritage seriously.. he had the great future ideas of enforcing the American mexico border. he would take a load of his UFW's and stand there on the border and kick the asses of stupid wetbacks coming over the border in YUMA and ARIZONA.. yes he was a GREAT MAN, he held no illusions about his identity, none of the "aztlan" bullshit or xicano handjobs.... he was a real man.. Dios, how we need him today...

Thank you Xicano for bringing this to my attention. I will delete the link to the WRH website immediately.
I kind of figured last month that WRH was probably anti-immigrant because I saw on their website one article that was anti-immigrant, but I didn’t know that they posted Neo-Nazi articles.
Actually I wrote them an email about this article that they posted and told them that it was outrageous for them to post this article. They answered me something about undocumented workers not paying any taxes or something like that.
I wanted to answer by sending them articles from UCLA published years ago about researches which found that immigrants barely used US social service. I didn't find the articles on the internet.
Although I don't agree with all what WRH post, I find on this website a lot of interesting articles. Of course this not for everyone. I understand that findingf a racist article on any website can turn people off, uncluding me.
PEACE

thank you . dog tamales for everyone!! but what do you mean, ie: "anti-immigrant"!?!?
I thought it was anti-ILLEGAL-immigrant. they are just fine with LEGAL immigrants who come to this country in a law abiding manner.
perhaps you should be more apropos and use the terms: anti-criminal-alien , or anti criminal trespasser, or anti-illegal alien, or illegal invaders or some thing more factual.
using "anti-immigrant" is not a factual term. it is a put-down to all the people who actualy came here to America LEGALLY, they can actually be termed as " immigrants ", everything else other than coming here legally is a crime against the American Public. it is a disgrace to lump so-called "immigrants( illegal aliens) " with ACTUAL IMMIGRANTS( who are here LEGALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) thank you for your attention,

Liberals and pseudo leftists that whine and cry about white supremacy are unwilling to confront Jewish racism in the same manor, often because they or their associates are Jews. This isn't anything bad about Voz de Aztlan.
... and no I am not a neo-nazi and I would let every mexican or panamanian or bulgarian come over the border legal or not.

Yes, there are some Jewish-Americans that are as racist as the next white supremacist or even a Nazi. Some of them are in the AIPAC and the JDL. Some of Zionists in Israel suck too because they've sold out to white supremacy in denial of the semitic connect between them and the people they slaughter every day in the occupied territories of Palestine.
But that's beside the fact that the Voz de Aztlan is full of it with their "jew on the brain" approach to politics. The middle class christian tapados who run that operation out of Whitey-er misrepresent the views of la raza.
As for the pendejo above with his head up his ass about Cesar Chavez and undocumented people, the only illegal immigrants are the Anglo-Saxons who invaded Mexico in the early 19th Century claiming that god gave their pastey asses this land. Hmm...sounds like the Zionists in Israel or the christian mentality behind the U.S. in Iraq doesn't it?
For clarification on Chavez's misconstrued views on immigrants, just read David Gutierrez's "Walls and Mirrors."
Its real simple: he just realized that the greedy-ass growers would just hire undocumented people to undermine union organizing efforts among farmworkers. He recognized how undocumented people can become pawns for capitalist pigs who hire them, fire them and hypocritically deport them at the same time. Just think of all those republicans and democrats with undocumented nannies with no health care.
