JOHN STOSSEL!?!?!?

I went to the Socialist Scholars Conference in NYC a couple of years ago and attended a panel on George Orwell. When asked which contemporary reporter is the most like Orwell (if any) one of the panelists replied, John Stossel. It was so lame...

filcher, the only interesting thing Stossel ever did was get slapped.

...same goes for you...the verbal slaps you get here every time you pinch off another one of your predictable cheerleading posts.

Vegas

by Meyer London Saturday, Mar. 19, 2005 at 1:14 AM

All the intellectual sophisticates love Vegas - Brittney Spears, guys from Iowa who think they are going to win big money because they read an article in the National Enquirer telling them how to do it, Bush Admirer, retired prison guards, Alzheimer's victims ready to blow their life savings, Mafia hitmen, people who believe in the story of Noah's Ark, and people who believe in the theories of the Neo-cons.

Other places claim the armpit crown: Bakersfield, CA, the White House, FBI Headquarters, southern Orange County, CA, and Lynchburg, Virginia - home of Falwell's Liberty College. Whatever town in Colorado houses Dr. James Dobson's Focus on the Family outfit would also be a strong contender.
