When: 2 PM, Sunday, February 6

Where: 12989 Chalon Road/ Corner of Mandeville Canyon Road & Chalon (North of Sunset Blvd, Los Angeles)

The California Nurses Association, Foundation for Taxpayer and Consumers, Californians for Justice, and Democracy for America will hold a press conference and protest on the sidewalk just before the gates to Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger's home.

Nurses -- who are featured in national television advertising criticizing Schwarzenegger's rollback of patient safety laws -- will discuss how Schwarzenegger's donors are the real special interests, not nurses and patients. (The ad, now airing, can be viewed at http://www.arnoldwatch.net ) Students will also discuss how Arnold has mislabeled them special interests as an excuse to hike their fees. Consumer advocates will express concern the Governor has not lived up to his pledge to prevent money from influencing his politics when he raised million in his first year, ,000 per day.

An airplane will pull a banner with a special message for the Governor.
