The Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) has employed contractors to wage cyber warfare against American Websites. The first targets were Muslim and Arab forums. The next targets were Anarchist websites. Currently, the DIA's war against free speech is targeting Independent Media news outlets.

This war against the online press is unconstitutional. It is a violation of the oaths of all members of the military service. We call on Congress to investigate the use of defense contractors in waging cyber warfare against American websites. In particular, we call for an investigation of Cycorp, a defense contractor in Austin, Texas that has been linked to the online war against free speech.
