Say, cavalryman, has it ever occurred to you that the worst, most tyrannical states all over the globe are those where the military has the greatest influence? Could it be that an institution based on killing and upon authoritarianism is just the kind of institution that would make all of society a nightmare if given a chance to do so?
So you think you are a victim because of 9-11? How come our wonderful military didn't prevent that? Could it be that the military helped bring it on through the support it gives to vicious states like Israel the former Shah-ruled Iran? As for dealing out death in this world, the US military is tops; people like Osama bin Laden are pikers compared to it. When the US military bombed poor neighborhoods in Panama City in an attempt to get one man (Noriega, who in the recent past had been a US favorite) more people were probably killed than in the 9-11 attack. Wasn't that terrorism? How about the support that the US military gave to the Indonesian Coup of 1965, which killed 500,000 people, or the support it gave to the 1982 Israeli invasion of Lebanon, which killed 25, 000 Arabs? How many Vietnamese did it kill? How many Iraqi babies has it killed in the past 48 hours?
The US military equals death. Nothing would give me more pleasure than to see it ripped up and destroyed through a revolt of its 100 percent working class enlisted people.

The United States Military is comprised of people from all walks of life and all socioeconomic levels. It is a microcosm of the United States, only better in that it lacks spineless cowards, frustrated Communists, lazy slackers, and couch-sitting revolutionaries.

The United States Military has successfully liberated 50 million people in only the last three years. In it's auspicious history it's employment was the decisive element in victory in two world wars and the victory over inhuman communism that was the cold war. Hundreds of millions of people are alive today because of the United States military. Tens of hundreds of millions live in representative democracies because of it.

So kindly remove what passes for your head from your rather cavernous ass and just say thank you.

Man, that ole CAV SOLDIER is on the rag!!! Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11. And why did 9/11 happen in the first place? Was it because we sent troops and proxy govts and CIA operatives into various countries to prop up US corporate interests, and that some people wouldn't take it anymore???

While I can appreciate you passion and conviction. It might serve you well to take a little time to look back at Sept. 11 2001 before touting off in a rage. Yes WE ALL REMEMBER but some of us actually recall. We recall a time when we did have fredoms that your son thinks he is fighting to protect. Yes that is very nobe of him and he deserves nothing less than the upmost respect. However when thinking about Sept 11 have you ever thought about how many holes are in the official story? Are you for instance aware that a 3rd tower fell that day? It wouldn't be your fault it would be the mass media not informing us. If we stayed glued to our TV's that day we might have recalled that. It's not just that one thing either there are a ton of little "quirks" in the official story that just don't fit into logical thinking. One thing I noticed that i thought odd was how quickly we knew who had committed the attack even had pictures of them. We never know the who the how and the why that quickly never.
Back to the 3rd tower collapse actually all three of them. Never before had steel and concrete building collapsed like that from fire or even earthquake. Now you might be inclinded to think well two were hit by planes. that is true but the towers were designed with airplanes in mind. the steel in the towers would be like a screen in your window if you took a pencil and puncture the screen you'd have a hole but the rest of the screen would still be intact. Thats what happened with the planes. The fires from the planes were not hot enough nor long enough to have caused the steel to melt. I know it's difficult to think that our own people could possibly be involved but that is exactly what appears to be the case. If you look without blind faith at what the official story has been and all the events after the attack and knowing that the plans to attack Iraq were drawn up even before Bush was elected and had nothing to do with Sept 11 other than it gave them the opportunity to implement a radically new approach that even they had said in the New American Century doctrin that they wouldn't be able to get the Ameican people behind them without a New Pearl Harbor. I think your anger is justified but not aimed at the right people. They murdered and lied to American People for selfish greed. Now they have our youth in an illegal war attacking innocent people. 100,000 Iraqi civilians have been killed most were women and children. We are not liberating the people were liberating the oil. Look at Afganastan. You know where the bases are there? They are all in the north no where else in the whole country except right where Cheney had been working on getting a pipeline built for haliburton before they took office. Thats where the three bases are so the rich can have their oil pipeline at American troops expense. It's more than oil they are seeking it total world domination. And it all started with a lie.
