"They're trying to bury him [Yasser Arafat] while he's still alive," so bellowed Suha, his "faithful wife," referring to Palestinian Authority leaders, PA Prime Minister Ahmed Qureia (Abu Ala) and former Prime Minister Muhmoud Abbas (Abu Mazen), recently on al-Jazeera TV. It's a very interesting situation. Many reports already put him as "brain dead" or just plain dead...he probably died last week some time. Remember George Bush's quip, "G-D rest his soul."

He's dead...he's not dead...he's dead...he's not dead...he's dead...

"The wicked are called dead even while alive; the righteous are alive even when they are dead" (Berakhot 18b), so says rabbinic tradition.

Well, we know that Yasser Arafat, the grand daddy of modern terrorism, was no "Tzadik" (saint)...so guess what?

Now, Palestinian Authority Foreign Minister Nabil Shaath has said that although Arafat is in a coma and very ill, "his brain, his heart and his lungs are still functioning and he is alive."

Yet, according to Reuters, at least five senior Palestinian leaders have told them that he's already dead. "He is dead," one Palestinian source said, while Shaath was trying to convince the world that Arafat is still alive. "He died after bleeding in the brain began last night. His bodyguards started hugging and kissing and telling each other to be strong."

Hugging and kissing...that leads to the question of what his mystery disease was?

It’s been alleged for years that Yasser Arafat was a homosexual and pedophile. I won't trouble you with all the gory details, but it probably was AIDS that got him. All his symptoms pointed in that direction. Former Romanian deputy foreign intelligence chief Ion Pacepa wrote about Arafat's romps with his bodyguards, back in 1987. Not long ago, former US federal prosecutor John Loftus told ABC radio that Arafat was dying of AIDS, and that the CIA has known about this for a while.

As Suha shouted at the end of her rant, "G-D is Great...G-D is Great!"

AIDS, HOMO, BOY LOVER...that's one of the reasons for the cover-up. Arafat always said he wanted to die as a "Shaheed," a martyr, so how do you explain to the Palestinian masses that their hero was a...queer? Most Palestinian's are serious Muslims (60-90% depending on the survey question). Homosexuality is officially banned in Islam.

The other major reasons for delaying the announcement of his death are:

1. The search for his money. It's estimated that Arafat has embezzled anywhere from billion (low estimate) to .2-6.5 billion (high estimate) over the years from Palestinian "national" funds. It's been reported that bank accounts and business interests are in multiple countries. No one knows for sure where. It's been reported that he gave out multiple and conflicting wills and that Suha wants her cut of the money for putting up with the slimy little guy. PA officials are up in arms about her demands, believing it's the "Palestinian" people's money.

2. The transition of power. Although it seems quite clear from PA and PLO rules, that PLO Secretary General Mahmoud Abbas and Palestinian Authority Prime Minister Ahmed Qureia stay in their respective positions, with the speaker of the Palestinian Legislative Council (Rawhi Fatuh) becoming temporary President until new elections, yet, Suha is demanding a political role. So too are Hamas and Islamic Jihad.

3. And finally...the funeral arrangements. That evil man (Arafat) actually requested to be buried on Judaism's holiest spot, the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. Sharon at first said no way, put him in Gaza. Then Palestinian officials announced they intend to bury Arafat in Ramallah, at his Mukata compound. Arafat's bureau director, Tayeb Abdul Rahim, stated that the Palestinian leadership has decided to turn the Mukata into a mausoleum for Arafat. It will be his final resting place until circumstances allow him to be buried in Jerusalem, according to Rahim. It seems that the Israeli cabinet has acquiesced.

Talking about what's next, Shaath said at the news conference, "I want to rule out any question of euthanasia. People talk like his life is plugged in and plugged out. This is totally ridiculous. We Muslims do not accept euthanasia." Shaath insisted that, "[Arafat] will live or die depending on his body's ability to resist and on the will of God."

It's been reported that Yasser's brother, Fahti, is dying of cancer in Cairo, his 10-year-old daughter Zahwa, has Leukemia, and his sister died of cancer last year.

Well, we all can see what the "Will of G-D" is...

Another rabbinic saying states, "Evil people don't even repent when they get to the gates of Hell."
