LAWS are not passed to be FAIR, and most certainly not passed to side with those that are illegal. They are for the common good.
Maybe there are bank robbers that feel that laws against the robbing of banks are not fair to them. So some would rob banks anyway, and then when they were called on, that they indeed did break a law. Then they would take to the streets, and protest the fact that they would have to suffer the consquences of thier breaking the law. And demand full amensty regardless if they broke the law . ??????
That would be a crazy twisted logic wouldn't it?
An another [anology] would be.
Americans stomping through your neighborhoods and DEMANDING the right to go into your homes and do as they please.
Do you see what I mean? ;)

Those are weak (and ultimately ineffective) analogies.
It's better to look at realities. The reality is that the lack of laws to legally enable workers to immigrate has led to a large population of people doing so without permission. When enough people break a law, the law stops working, because there's social pressure to break the law. (In this case, economic pressure.)

Hows this for an anology? A Spolied Child: When a child wants something, and is then told no, so the child will scream and throw a fit. All the while crying "It's not fair"!! When punishment is threatened, the child then screams and whines even louder.
Sound familiar?

I was speaking of the illegal aliens protesting in the streets of the United States of America......

But the analogy applied better to the Minutemen and SOS.

That's an even weaker analogy.
How about the fact that the situation as it exists today is an informal caste system that creates a two-class society. There are those with full rights, and those with limited rights. This necessarily creates split labor markets.
This is analagous to the condition of other caste systems, like the "untouchables" in India, the buraku in Japan, or the slaves of American history.
Today, there are two political currents regarding how to resolve this caste system. One side says eliminate the distinction in status. The other side says to eliminate the people in the lower caste, by exiling them to their place of origin.
The former are analagous to the anti-slavery abolitionists. The latter are analagous to the people who said all people of African origin (or partial African origin) should be sent to Africa.

Your comment is pure garbage.
Illegals come here for a variety of reasons. But they don't come here because of our alleged "lack of laws". There is a process in place for people to migrate here legally and every single border jumper knows that.
Your just loaded with psuedo-intellectual trash.
Here's a reality check for you... Half of the reason they come here is because Mexico is deeply racist against its own indian population and almost totally corrupt, keeping these people in poverty. The other half of the reason is our poor enforcement of existing laws, so they know they can make a better wage here and get away with it. And it isn't the law that has stopped working. The problem is that Congress has absolutely no backbone on this issue. The laws are fine IF they are enforced, but that requires some spine.
Do you ever tire of your own constipated, elitist hogwash? Get over yourself.
