Kucinich Calls on the House to Hold Bush Accountable!

9/18/04

Washington- In light of the recent intellingence analysis that Iraq is a "catastrophic failure" and the best case scenario is for a continuation of the current chaos. Dennis Kucinch has called on the House Subcommittee on National Security to hold hearings to investigate Bush's lies.

"I believe that this subcommittee must excercise its oversight powers to the fullest and hold the Bush administration accountable for its decisions particularly where the use of force is concerned.

Over 1000 US soldiers have already lost their lives while serving in Iraq, and Congress owes all our brave soldiers honest answers. The American Public deserves a hearing on the findings of the 2004 NIE report in open session."

Thank You Dennis Kucinich !

"I feel it is vital that the Subcommittee act quickly to examine the latest intelligence guiding the Bush Administration's current policy on Iraq. I look forward to an answer to my request."

Yes! If they lied before the war, isn't it possible they're still lying now?

The Bush/Kerry policy of 'staying the course' as the only way is a lie.

What we have in DC now is a gang of thieves that are getting away with murder. If we don't hold them accountable they're going to think they can get away with anything and it's going to get much, much worse. All congressmen that are afraid to delve into this 'intelligence failure' are girlie men. (thanks Arnold ; -)

We need to call and fax the members of the House Subcommittee and pleasantly demand that they vote with Kucinich and hold these hearings in open session before the election. The American people deserve the truth. No more secrecy due to 'national security'- that's an obvious excuse allowing them to get away with murder. We Demand Accountability. If our representatives won't hold Bush accountable, we will hold them accountable.

The National Security Subcomittee - perhaps you'd rather call them

sample email text:

Dear Honorable Representative,

I agree with Dennis Kucinich, I believe that the "Subcommittee on National Security must excercise its oversight powers to the fullest and hold the Bush administration accountable for its decisions particularly where the use of force is concerned.

Over 1000 US soldiers have already lost their lives while serving in Iraq, and Congress owes all our brave soldiers honest answers. The American Public deserves a hearing on the findings of the 2004 NIE report in open session.

I feel it is vital that the Subcommittee act quickly to examine the latest intelligence guiding the Bush Administration's current policy on Iraq. I look forward to an answer to my request."

Hold the Bush Administration Accountable or else I will call and email everyone I know to get you replaced this November.

or something like that (- ;

Tip- you have to wait a full 24 hrs before you can send the next batch of email-fax

or they all get returned and you have to do it again
