Down with U.S. Imperialism Contingent's Message from A12

by Breezy Saturday, Aug. 14, 2004 at 4:12 PM

No Bush, No Kerry, Revolution is Necessary!

ANYONE BUT BUSH?

ANYONE?

THE HYPOCRISY OF REPRESENTATION

Throughout the progressive, activist and overall “leftist” communities there has been a common sentiment lately; that we must take any possible alternative to Bush. But what if the only possible alternative to Bush, was another rich white male who is paid by the exact companies Bush is paid by? Who then, do we vote for?

To Vote or not to Vote... does it really matter when the only people who have a say are the richest CEO's and professional money-makers? People who, in the public eye, admit to having corporate loyalties (showing you who they really have in mind when they pass the laws), people who eat 00 meals everyday while some of us are lucky enough to spend a couple dollars a week on over priced genetically modified produce and fast-food, people who line are streets with police and prisons to lock up those who attempt to break apart from their given social class (or breakdown the social classes for that matter), people who wage wars based on domination across the globe, who clear cut our rainforests, who spy on us through satellites, who have failed time and time and time again at representing those who live off the crumbs they toss to us!

No matter who goes into office, we will always lose. This system is designed to work for the rich, never for us. So, what is there for us? What can we possibly do? The only answer is direct action. Since they’re not representing us, we have to represent ourselves. We must take control of our lives.

Don't simply boycott and expect to have “done your part”. Do what you need to, to end the cruel injustices brought upon the world in our names. Do what you need to do at your place of exploitation (work), your school, your town, in your streets.

United States led imperialism, domination, and capitalism did not start with Bush and it most certainly will not end with Kerry. For a future for our selves, our children and our communities, we must bring about revolutionary change; take back our lives and breakdown these absurd institutions BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY.

"It's not a matter of whether the war is not real, or if it is, victory is not possible. The war is not meant to be won, it is meant to be continuous. Hierarchical society is only possible on the basis of poverty and ignorance. This new version is the past and no different past can ever have existed. In principle the war effort is always planned to keep society on the brink of starvation. The war is waged by the ruling group against its own subjects and its object is not the victory over either Eurasia or East Asia but to keep the very structure of society intact." ~George Orwell “1984”
