LOS ANGELES -- A majority of American registered voters now say conditions in Iraq did not merit war, but most are reluctant to abandon efforts there, according to a new Los Angeles Times poll.
So you will now have to all crawl back in your toilets because: Voters say Iraq didn't merit war

LOS ANGELES -- A majority of American registered voters now say conditions in Iraq did not merit war, but most are reluctant to abandon efforts there, according to a new Los Angeles Times poll.
Voters are increasingly concerned that Iraq is a quagmire America cannot escape, and they are doubtful that a democratic government will be established there, according to the poll published in Friday editions of

Anyone who gets their news only from the LA Times, New York Times and the Big 3 networks (who have lost HUGE viewerships to cable and internet news) is a goddamned rube.
Keep chugging out that propaganda, commies.
Bush will still win in November.

Wow.
http://www.worldtribune.com/worldtribune/breaking_1.html
Seems Saddam's WMD are turning up in Syria and scrapyards in The Netherlands and elsewhere.
So it seems Bush didn't lie after all.
So what's next, cowardly traitorous scum?
Economy... great.
War... justified.
Security... improving.
Enemies... on the run.
Not much left for Sen. Kerry to run on. So sad.

Kerry's platform -- let's see now.....
-> I'm here to help the poor so long as they're keep off the grounds of my various multi-million dollar estates.
->If Arab terrorists fly airliners into the Sears Tower on my watch, I'm just going to phone it in to Kofi and consult with Jacques Chirac. They'll tell me what to do. My top priority is pleasing them.
-> I'm going to cut taxes for any large voting block that's for sale. If you want a tax cut you have to be organized and able to deliver votes to get me in power and keep me there. I've already cut deals with the AFL/CIO, Jesse Jackson, the Gays, etc. We're going to make the Republicans pay 95% of the taxes. If you are looking for a free ride, vote for me.
-> I'll make a great Commander in Chief because of my military background.
-> Sorry but I'm not going to support illegal immigrants. Last time I checked they couldn't vote.

Until the Chicago Trib bought out the Times, it was right-of-center except in Metro and Calendar.
Until the merger with the expired Herald Examiner, the LAT was the Republican paper. Simple as that.
The LAT went to the left, IMHO, because of competition from numerous conservative papers in the suburbs. Instead of competing for the ageing readership, they moved a little left to expand their base. The Daily News, the SGV Trib/Pasadena Star, Daily Breeze, etc. With the notable exception of papers that focus on ethnic communities (and thus are interested in labor and civil rights) most papers in LA are conservative.
Just read a few papers, and it'll become obvious what politics the mainstream English language papers have. They are moderate to conservative.

-> Kill the poor, but say you love them.
-> Make more confusion about terrorism, and then, let the terrorists kill more people, because it helps unify the country to invade other countries.
-> We have the money, and we'll spend what it takes to fool people into voting for us. We don't have morals, and don't really believe in God, but support Christian conservatives because they're our biggest voting bloc. We'll outspend the Democrats 2 to 1 to just eke out half the vote. Eventually, we'll try to reinstate the poll tax, because it'll prevent poor people from voting.
-> I've never seen war or suffering. Thus, I'm the best to lead my people, who have never seen war, nor suffering, but send others to die in war.
-> I'm going to say I hate illegals, but will continue to support all my friends with businesses that employ them, and households that employ them, and cities that profit from them. I will try to forget that Texas used to be Mexico. Remember the Alamo.

John K - You really should start reading the news paper and get up to speed on world events. You're making a fool of yourself by postings here that reveal just how completely uninformed you are.
BA Fanclub member --- iimitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Thank you for pretending that you're me.
-> Kill the poor, but say you love them.
GWB doesn't kill the poor and he does want to help them out of poverty. He doesn't want to give them handlouts but he does want to help make them self sufficient.
-> Make more confusion about terrorism, and then, let the terrorists kill more people, because it helps unify the country to invade other countries.
What a load of bull. Bush has no territorial expansion ambitions. He does want to go after terrorists and terrrorist financiers wherever they may be. More power to him!

The Christian Coalition is not my favorite lobbying group. I consider the AFL/CIO to be only roughly 100 times worse.
-> I've never seen war or suffering. Thus, I'm the best to lead my people, who have never seen war, nor suffering, but send others to die in war.
The best way for GWB to lead is to go after terrorism agressively. That's exactly what he's doing. That should be his top priority and it is.
-> I'm going to say I hate illegals, but will continue to support all my friends with businesses that employ them, and households that employ them, and cities that profit from them. I will try to forget that Texas used to be Mexico. Remember the Alamo.
Now you reveal yourself as a political illiterate JohnK. Bush has a very liberal stance toward illegals much to the chagrin of many in his own party. As the former Governor of Texas he has first hand knowledge in this area and he's heading in the right direction. You're blinded, JohnK, by listening to too much liberal bullshit like Pacifica Radio and Michael Moore (two propaganda dispensers who've never told the truth).
