Blood Enemies with the Same Goal

by Commentator Tuesday, Jun. 08, 2004 at 2:15 PM

Mnay of us disagree with the war for different reasons. I for one am particularly disenchanted with the way this war has drawn attention away from more pressing issues and made Midlle East situations worse.

Is it possible however, that two blood enemies have found common ground in supporting the war. Iran's Shia and Israel's Mossad both wanted Sadam put to sleep. As all of the blame for this war has shifted (rightfully) to neo-conservatives, the ultimate mole has been rooted out.

It smelled like a trap from day one, this war. It doesn't take a genius to figure out that Israel will undoubtedly be blamed and it could be used to stoke another racist war, or an apocalypse. So it's not surprising that the top man, Bush, chose Achmed Chalabi as one of his chief advisors on the war and that Chalabi was ultimately an Iranian tool. How better to kill two birds with one stone.

Knowing full well Bush couldn't be reelected in time to go after Iran, the Iranians pulled a fast one and induced a war that eliminated their chief enemy, while causing the Intifada to grow in Israel and having neo-conservative Jews be blamed for the injustice of war. The result, a group of alienated liberal Israelis who are willing to give up other people's hard worked farms in Gaza for a modecum of peace (which they will probably never get.) Gaza should be given up no doubt, and the West Bank, but security should be guaranteed for all in the region.

A devastated enemy in Iraq no longer poses a threat to Iran. A Shia majority insures power for clerics. High oil revenue for any desert oil producer. And the world superpower shown to be defeatable, absolutely defeatable, and vulnerable where they are at best. Suddenly it looks like we fought a war for Iran. And it's just our Karma too after how we let Sadam treat them. After destroying a decent Iranian leader and installing religious psychos. After leaving them to be allies with the Russians for so long. America is finally duped by some rich oil guys and a fanatic Iranian regime.

You think Hitler was bad, you should see how single minded and religiously fascist the Iranians are. You don't hear about human rights violations in countries where there is no free speech.

It is fitting that after the fall of the iron curtain, the tassle on the end in Iran is still duping us much like the KGB. This is the greatest intelligence coup ever perpetrated on the American public.

Now that we know of this, it's time to get back to normalcy. It's time to stop pay back for Iran, give Palestinians their state and some newly built housing settlements for good measure. Withdraw from Iraq with a UN promise to help us pay to rebuild, and go to Sudan to stop the genocide of oilless black farmers. When we can really fight for liberation, we can have the respect of the world back. We can have peace. We can stop being duped by former Soviet Satellites.
