Los Angeles 3/27/04
Free Palestine supporters met in Los Angeles at the Israeli consulate to voice outrage over the killing of Shaykh Ahmed Yassin and honor him in martyrdom.

Earlier in the week Israeli helicopter gunships fired three rockets at the wheelchair-bound figurehead of HAMAS as he exited the Islamic Association Mosque in the densely populated al-Sabra neighborhood in the center of Gaza City. This, the second assassination attempt on the 66-year-old Yassin, was successful. Israel’s targeting campaign has killed over 337 Palestinians with 40% of the victims being non-combatants since September of 2000. World leaders and governing institutions have rejected the extra-judicial killing. The United States characterized the US equipped attack as “Deeply Troubling”. Yassin’s murder has sparked outrage in the region and beyond. portions adapted from Nigel Parry, The Electronic Intifada Stream Prayer Stream Statement of Purpose and Prayers Stream Emma R

Look, this guy advoated the murder of Jews. Not "Israelis" not "Zionists" but Jews. It's in the Charter of Hamas, spouted daily in their propaganda, etc. etc. etc. How the left can ally itself with these sort of anti-Semitic right-wing religious nuts is completely insane.

Shiek Yassin was behind countless bus bombings and other suicide murders. He was personally responsible for hundreds of murders of Israeli Jews and Arabs (yes Arabs got killed by his bombers too) and for the mutilation of thousands. IndyMedia should be ashamed for posting the lies of the SCUM who back this piece of terrorist garbage. And Indy Media and the people who parade around with Yassin's picture should be put on notice. You are going to be deported, detained, or otherwise put under scrutiny. When you march around supporting a piece of terrorist garbage who supports Bin Laden and the 9/11 bombings, YOU ARE A TERRORIST. That isn't too complicated for you is it? IF YOU SUPPORT TERRORISTS, YOU ARE A TERRORIST.

The statement you guy's are making is very fascinating. Yassin couldn't here, couldn't speak, couldn't walk, hardly could move. And he's a terrorist? Meanwhile Bush drops bombs EVERYWHERE and he's not? If you are going to make blatant ignorant statements you might want to state a context or standard rather then ramble on with hasty generalizations and other fallacies. You're whole arguement if fallocious. The new spiritual leader of hamas is even worse then Yassin, so go ahead and support Israel another puppet of American foreign policy.
Tragedies of the mind. Tragedies of America.

What's the crime for that now a days? Try this man, pick up a book and read with an open mind, if you can't do that, then maybe you should move to Antarctica, at least over there someone might care. Regardless, your definitions are certainly non-sensical. So its better if you hush.

March 30, 2004 9/11 Commission Director: Iraq War Launched to Protect Israel by Emad Mekay IPS uncovered the remarks by Philip Zelikow, who is now the executive director of the body set up to investigate the terrorist attacks on the United States in September 2001 – the 9/11 commission – in which he suggests a prime motive for the invasion just over one year ago was to eliminate a threat to Israel, a staunch U.S. ally in the Middle East.
Zelikow's casting of the attack on Iraq as one launched to protect Israel appears at odds with the public position of President George W. Bush and his administration, which has never overtly drawn the link between its war on the regime of former president Hussein and its concern for Israel's security.
The administration has instead insisted it launched the war to liberate the Iraqi people, destroy Iraq's weapons of mass destruction (WMD) and to protect the United States.
Zelikow made his statements about "the unstated threat" during his tenure on a highly knowledgeable and well-connected body known as the President's Foreign Intelligence Advisory Board (PFIAB), which reports directly to the president.
The statements are the first to surface from a source closely linked to the Bush administration acknowledging that the war, which has so far cost the lives of nearly 600 US troops and thousands of Iraqis, was motivated by Washington's desire to defend the Jewish state.
The administration, which is surrounded by staunch pro-Israel, neo-conservative hawks, is currently fighting an extensive campaign to ward off accusations that it derailed the "war on terrorism" it launched after 9/11 by taking a detour to Iraq, which appears to have posed no direct threat to the United States.
Zelikow has long-established ties to the Bush administration.
His close ties to the administration prompted accusations of a conflict of interest in 2002 from families of victims of the 9/11 attacks, who protested his appointment to the investigative body.

Are you seriously asking that?
Hitler never killed any Jews himself. Was he not a Nazi?
Same with Stalin and Bin Laden.
Yassin founded Hamas, probably THE most heinous and murderous terrorist group to date and you find it fascinating that he might be reffered to as a terrorist even though he's crippled?
You can't be that stupid and operate a keyboard.

Is one of the few people in the WORLD who deserved the death penalty. He was an embarrassment to anyone who claims Islam speaks for peace. He authorised over 100 bombings. The evidence exists because the loud mouthed(and yes the bastard could talk) arrogant slave of Satan never minded what he was saying in front of the cameras. Including things like all Jews should die. He has more on his record as a Nazi than the Grand Wizard of the KKK. On the other hand, George Khoury, who was a champion of diplomatic rights for Palestinians and a microcosm of peace in the middle east was killed by Al Aqsa the day before- he was a Palestinian and a true humanitarian, not a fake using religion to spread hate. If you want to mourn, mourn him.

Boo fucking hoo, I am soooo sorry that the Arab population hated you so much that they left you in refugee camps while sending all the Jewish arabs to Israel so Israel could absorb them. For your information it was generally an even exchenge with 746,000 Palestinians uprooted and 856,000 Jews. Unfortunately Jews were cared for by other Jews and Palestinians were hated by Jordanians, Lebanese and others for being messy and violent. Face the truth. It's only your failure as a brotherhood and a nation that makes you seem opressed. Your calls to violence are fascist and will be defended against. Your own leaders rob you, you are no better than the rest of us and we are no worse than you. Every man is guilty, but Palestinians cannot blame the Jews for the fact that their own brothers turned them away while Jews took thier brothers in and helped them. That is what Yassin did. He did not recognise truth or circumstance, he only recognised race and he was quoted so many times doing so that one lying quote to the opposite is pure bullshit. The embarrassment is that you call him spiritual. That is an hhorrible person to relate to Ghandi and MLK.

Simple factual history.
The arab world bases it's sole existence on destroying Isreal because of it's deep concern for the "oppression" of it's "palestinian" brothers.
There has never been any evidence of this solidarity.
Starting with the massive land grab of would-be "palestine" in 1948 by it's "united" arab brothers, "palestinians" have been roundly ignored and or hated by all of it's arab brethren.
"palestinians" are only worthwhile as a convenient reason to hate Jews, which is really what the core issue is in the middle east. A huge population of arabs whose religion fosters hatred and racism and keeps them developmentally locked in the stone age, utterly resentful against a small minority that has advanced lightyears ahead of them on EVERY level.
