A police officer on the scene was asked what the charges were and he said "grafitting a wall," and then, after a slight hesitation, "and drug posession." "No War" was in fact seen spray painted on a wall around the corner. The cops did not in general mess with demonstrators and this did not seem to be an attempt to chill our free speech rights, although it is entirely possible that they tacked on the drug charge to the grafitti charge.

Do the two arrested need support of any sort? Is someone looking out for them?

Police on the scene said that "Hollywood Vice" would be the department to contact. I was not able to determine the names of those arrested but perhaps if others know they can post it here. Or if you were one of those arrested and are now out please let us know the status of your case (without, of course, saying anything that could compromise your position).
