IGNORE THE SUFFERING OF MILLIONS OF CHILDREN

Last night I was busy 'cut and pasting' the Orange County Register article about how 'Millions of Children are Dying Needlessly' to an apologist site. The article is about how millions off children die because all the funding is going to 'AIDS' and all other diseases are being ignored (the WHO itself admits only 3% of child mortalities in the Third World are from so called 'AIDS').

It suddenly struck me this article was not about one child dying in agony. No, it was not even about a thousand or a million but about 'millions'. I tried to imagine two million children ALL suffering. It could not be done. One's mind can no better visualize two million suffering children then it can infinity.

A headline like this numbs our senses and disguises the total horror it is intended to portray.

I then suddenly understood that one must create one suffering child in one's 'mind eye' and then this crime against humanity starts to become real to you.

Create your own suffering child image and with this 'reality' your resolve to stop the madness will have graphic substance.

The horror is real and it is taking place today. It is not just words on paper but actual flesh and blood, alone and untreated, in horrible pain.

Hear the cries of the children and come to the rescue
