i hope the film displayed within 30 seconds.with speakers you can hear sound clip on the film as well.
I have a 5 minute film made by a little boy called Harry from Woodend using the computer and webcam.
He was only 4years old at the time . its a very inspiring film that would probably shock a lot of parents by the computer ability of very young children given the chance.
The film is set within the context of his parents engaged in conversation while harry does his own thing recording his performances to the web camera.and replaying them :)
i would love to show the film to parents, grandparents and educationalists if only so that they do not underestimate young childrens ability. incredable as it may sound, Harry made the film during his first introduction to computers lasting only a few hours.
This thursday i am having a CD writter fitted to my computer for the purpose of copying the film onto cd for postage that i think will delight and amaze all that see it and find it exeptionally entertaining.
I rate it a 999 way of introducing children to computers :)
it is as harry says 'amazing'
and as i say 'its true, see for yourself'.
you did with the chuckle film and you were not disappointed were you ?:)
Internet presented visual stimulus
Shows
A Wheel & pigeons analogous to human social hierarchies and conflicts over limited resources. with food used as the main variable .
The subjects are the wild pigeons within a urban social context of other wild and local loft pigeons who use the experimental wheel.
Clip 1 shows a pigeon hop landing over the heads of other pigeons revolving around the wheel. An accompanying audio clip sings the words come on everybody
Clip 2 shows two pigeons fighting in which both fall down off the wheel, still locked in combat with an accompanying audio music clip intended to be heard as a down drum beat crashendo.
The ongoing experimental report considers
visual ranking in terms of variables that are constructed, explicit, inferenced and unwittingly presented
and discusses the following experimental variables :
self evident categorisation
post experiment defined and undefined categorisations
prior experiment defined and undefined categorisations
Subject ranking of the stimulus
experimenter ranking of subjects
subject groupings, statistical analysis and interpretation.
Their is nothing new under the sun only new combinations that make things unique.
the experiment appeals to the curiosity of human nature
what makes people curios ?attention to differences.Things that stand out from the norm. The mysterious.visual and auditory stimulus that arouses emotion.
Time is an important factor. These are a full length feature film that assume an average attention time span of 3 seconds to justify the bold claims made about them.
