UFCW Local 1442’s Strike Force and the National Lawyers Guild staged a militant strike action tonight. The Von’s located at 4030 Centinella was chosen as the rallying point for striking grocery workers and allies to engage anyone crossing the picket lines. For the most part the store was empty except for scabs, management and the occasional customer. What followed was ugly at times yet encouraging.

Above: Crossing the Line -- a strike breakers view.
Militant Picketing “…militant picketing… everybody should be engaging in militant picketing and militant picketing is not necessarily screaming at people calling them names. All militant picketing is, is talking with every single customers no matter what. That is what militant picketing is because the second you let anybody walk by you without saying a word you have implicitly told them that it is OK to cross your picket line… every time you say something you make it clear that they have made a bad moral choice and that is all militant picketing is….”

“…We need to more than not shop here and honk our horns and that’s why we’re out here. We’re at crunch time now; all right this is crunch time… Your picket lines have been strong and people aren’t shopping in those stores and we’re going to keep them strong… we’re with you to the end…”

Call it what it is. It's hooliganism and you clagnuts are fast losing what little bit of sympathy you had left.

Some action is required, things are geting a little desperate. Do you really think they should just let strike breakers go by without saying a word? Would you?

"Some action is required, things are geting a little desperate. "
Like the action of realizing that they are grocery baggers and utterly expendable and should get different jobs since the replacement workers have bested them,

I couldn't be less important.
I'm not out yelling at people to change their behavior for my benefit either.

Your initial post advocates the abandonment of collective bargaining rights for seventy thousand middle class tax paying neighbors, that’s irresponsible. Characterizing workers as “baggers” and “utterly expendable” is degrading.

No it doesn't. It simply states the obvious.
The bargaining is over. These strikers don't bring that much to the table. Therefore they don't have much to bargain with. I'm all for people collectively bargaining. But they must be willing to accept when they've been offered as good as they are going to get given their worth.

An elitist shitpile....that's a good one!
...only the finest fecal matter goes into making that pile. It must be piled high to allow you to look down on others...
