photo of scab manager from Texas

scab-manager-from-texas.jpg, image/jpeg, 384x512

With the store shutdown and no one inside for over two hours.

The scab manager (bussed in from Texas) staged his own odd attempt at a counter demonstration. Bringing a chair to the front of the door he pretended to read the newspaper while ignoring the insults yelled at him from the militant picketers. His face just got redder and redder. We don’t know why he did this or what effect he thought it would have other than to show us what management really does when they are not spying on workers or abusing the staff.
