The "got it backwards crowd"

by Cass Friday, Jan. 16, 2004 at 3:49 AM

'Isreal is Real Hell' -- proclaims a sign.

The democracy with respect for human rights, due process, gay rights, open elections.

Meanwhile, the Palestinian Authority, run by a corrupt tyrrant, with no religious tolerance, no respect for gay rights, no due process, and which practices torture is the cause supported by these kooks.

I guess Isreal is "hell" for people who hate democracy and human rights. I'm just glad I'm not one of those people.

(By the way, I AM outraged, because I was paying attention to this ridiculous little display!)

I saw one of those Geroge Foreman™ grills in a shop window the other day and I was thinking of getting one. They're at knockdown proces these days. I also really admire George and what he's achieved.
Anyone got one one? Are they worth getting?

One lady with a cardboard sign is all it takes for you to condemn Israel?

She's your credible source? A lady with a marker?

I've told you before, you have it backwards. You collect your data, then draw your conclusion.

But you? You determine that Israel is evil, then surf around to find pictures to prove it.

Too bad the facts are not on your side. Oh, well.

Never stopped you before.

That lady *lives there* - she would certainly know better than YOU.

And this thing about finding facts to support pre-reached conclusions rests on the idea that you know anything about me (despite your attempts to dig dirt and "draw me out" on issues)

Simply a cheap attempt to discredit, and in fact the very assertion is nothing but RHETORIC - classic !

This digging keeps popping up too, your motivations are transparent to me.

"Hex, I gotta ask / What is your ultimate motive for posting the Liberty stuff / Is it to further villify Israel / Is it to generate hate against Israel in the US, so (you hope) the US drops aid to Israel / What exactly are you trying to do here?"

questions questions - if I'm "jumping through your hoops for months" why is it then that you get no response to such troll baiting, why is it that you feel compelled to have the last word which *is ignored* and why do you waste your time asking such obviously rhetorical questions when everyone here can see RIGHT THROUGH YOU ?

The GF grill is not all that easy to clean though. You can't take the sum-bitch apart, that's probably the suckiest part about it. But it does cook a good burger. Fast too.

But the rotiseree is the bomb. It's not really that hard to clean because all the inards come right out and you can dunk 'em in the sink. I like to inject my bird with some italian dressing, some lemon juice, or maybe some oil with some finely crushed spices. And baste the sum-bitch in some bbq sauce or some other such and mmmm mmm good.

Then plop down in the lazy boy with a cold beer and a hot bird and watch the feetball game.

God bless America!

by pojkjhkjg Friday, Jan. 16, 2004 at 4:27 PM

Boy, the loonies are out in force today, huh?

Way to soak up the bandwidth, guys! But don't get too carried away; if George Soros gets too big a bill, he'll shut you down. Not cost effective.

Hex, your little "everyone who disagrees with me CAN ONLY BE one person (because it scares me to think otherwise)" bit is still pretty funny. I especially like the "proof" you present. IPs, posts, vague threats, opinions presented as fact...all hallmarks of the typical Wrecks alot w/Prescription Patented Paranoia Rant. Keep it up! Very entertaining!

"all it takes to defeat jerry..."

I'm sorry; I'm not Jerry. Perhaps you need to re-analyze your "proof".

"...is a few of us posting pictures like above..."

Really? Is that all it takes? You should have cleared our defeat with us first; we didn't know anything about it. BTW: Just because you say something doesn't make it so...no matter that you think otherwise. You'd think you'd have figured that out by now. Guess not.

"...because even though he plays at being several people he can't keep up with us..."

Patented Paranoia Rant! Whee!

"...and *he lacks good pictures to post* - what few he gets are only government propaganda ones and not very good either, typically small and poor quality.."

We've been over that, too. Pay attention. I'm going to start thinking you're not as bright as you like to think. The reason I don't post a lot of pictures of dead Israeli kids is twofold:

1. There aren't a lot available. Not because there are not a lot of kids killed by your splodeydope heroes (there are), but because Israel chooses not to callously, coldly, and calculatingly exploit her dead like your splodeydope heroes do. You see, that's just not very civilzed behaviour, is it? Waving around your dead kids for the press.

2. I have other things to do than wallow in photos of dead children. You, apparently, do not. Is that sick, or what?

Post all the photos you like, Hex. Convince yourself you're making a difference. Pretend your vast collection of dead kid photos will help bring about peace in the Middle East.

But realize this: Every photo of dead Palestinian kids you post only serves to reinforce the (correct) notion that the Palestinians are, for the most part as proven by polls, a sick, twisted cult of death, intent on violently spending the lives of their children for the sake of killing Jews.

And that is inexcusable and indefensible.

Golda Meier once said something like, "There will never be peace in the Middle East as long as Arabs hate Jews more than they love their children."

Even YOU cannot deny that, Hex.

Not without looking like a stupid, Jew-hating, terrorist apologist.

Oh, I suspect he can.

I suspect he can vehemently deny anything and everything that sheds even the most minute bit of light on "palestinian" culpability.

Remember. Hex believes that the arab world is absolutely, positively and irrefutably free of ANY responsibilty or accountability with regards to it's jihad against Jews and the violence that results from it.

Hex believes that Israel is to blame for EVERY SINGLE misfortune, no matter how small or grotesque, that might befall ANY Arab, especially the sainted and exalted and beyond reproach "palestinians".

They support the troops

by Paul Saturday, Jan. 17, 2004 at 4:22 PM

The trolls support the troops! That's why when Bx kills 500 of them, and permanently injures another SEVERAL THOUSAND, that's OK. The trolls support the troops! They LOVE visiting amputees over at the VA. They LOVE all the phone calls the Preznit makes to the grieving families (GOT YOUR __ZERO__ RIGHT HERE!).

Trolls support the troops. It's OK to send the troops to die anywhere the corporations need a helping hand. And don't forget the URANIUM! Make sure the troops get good, healthy, lungsful of DU and burning plastics...that's helps make Gulf War 2 Syndrome EVEN BETTER than GW1 Syndrome, which the VA statistics show took down 250,000 soldiers with permanent disability. HOORAY!

The trolls should wipe that shitburger off their faces. They're going to LOVE the Bx 1995 draft! Oh Boy! Troll burgers!

fresca: I didn't mind outdoor gigs too much, if the weather was nice. Sucks playing in the rain, though.

Gnutella's Sister: Waaaah. Get over it.

Paul: Moron, I AM in the military. Duh. Say, where do you get your inane information about the military?

You blathered: "...that's helps make Gulf War 2 Syndrome EVEN BETTER than GW1 Syndrome, which the VA statistics show took down 250,000 soldiers with permanent disability."

Yet the VA website (http://www1.va.gov/health/environ/faq.htm) says:

"How many Gulf War veterans are sick, what symptoms do they have and how many have unexplained illnesses?

Of the 697,000 U.S. troops who served during Operation Desert Shield and Desert Storm, more than 100,000 have registered with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) or the Department of Defense (DOD), saying they have health concerns. While most of these veterans have been diagnosed with a variety of conditions, more than 15,000, or about 20 percent of those examined, have undiagnosed symptoms, which commonly include fatigue, muscle and joint pains, headaches, memory loss, skin rash, diarrhea and sleep disturbances."

Last I checked, Paul, 15,000 with undiagnosed symptoms is NOT 250,000 soldiers with permanent disability.

Are you a liar, or just stupid?

There is no accurate accounting of the civilians who have died, but a cross-section of the math places their count in the tens of thousands. They died in their homes, shocked and awed before the fire took them. They died in the streets, fleeing the storm. They died in their beds from wounds, or disease, or despair.

How did it come to this?

It came to this because Dick Cheney said, ""Simply stated, there is no doubt that Saddam Hussein now has weapons of mass destruction,"" on August
26, 2002.

It came to this because Ari Fleischer said, ""We know for a fact that there are weapons there,"" on January 9, 2003.

It came to this because Colin Powell said, ""We know that Saddam Hussein is determined to keep his weapons of mass destruction, is determined to make more,"" on February 5, 2003.

It came to this because Donald Rumsfeld said, ""We know where they are,"" about these weapons. ""They are in the area around Tikrit and Baghdad,"" on March 30, 2003.

It came to this because George W. Bush said, ""We have sources that tell us that Saddam Hussein recently authorized Iraqi field commanders to use chemical weapons,"" on February 8, 2003.

It came to this because George W. Bush said, ""Intelligence gathered by this and other governments leaves no doubt that the Iraq regime
continues to possess and conceal some of the most lethal weapons ever devised,"" on March 17, 2003.

It came to this despite the fact that Colin Powell said, ""Hussein has not developed any significant capability with respect to weapons of mass destruction. He is unable to project conventional power against his neighbors,"" on February 24, 2001.

The Washington Post on January 7th ran a lead story titled ""Iraq's Arsenal Was Only On Paper...""

No, it came to this because......

...Saddam failed to live up to the terms of the cease-fire agreement that he signed in 1991.

It came to this because Saddam did not complete the actions he was required to by several UN resolutions.

It came to this because Saddam did not cooperate with the UN weapons inspectors as he was required to.

It came to this because the WMD report Saddam submitted did not account for all known stocks of WMD.

It came to this because of Saddam.

There is no other conclusion.
