I just can't fathom how an American, in this day and age, could grow up and suddenly, one day decide that he/she is an avowed socialist! What the hell is going wrong with you people out west? I grew up in a small Georgia town, and people over here on the east coast would never, ever embrace socialism, communism, anarchism or any such revolting ideologies.
