Open Letter to the Nation (12.10.03)

An open letter to Nation Magazine that was sent on 12/10/03.

Open Letter to the N...

Regarding:
http://www.commondreams.org/views03/1209-02.htm

After reading Robert Jay Lifton’s recent piece (“American Apocalypse”, the Nation, 12/8/03) I have decided not to renew my long-running subscription to the Nation Magazine. In it Lifton continually asserts that the US was attacked on September 11, 2001 by Osama bin Laden and Al Qaeda. Meanwhile, it takes only about fifteen minutes to scientifically confirm that the official story of 9/11/01 could not possibly be true. For example, the cutting charges that helped topple World Trade Center 7 are easily seen in the Naudet brothers’ documentary 911. In addition, both of the Twin towers fell as quickly as they would have in a free fall from gravity. This is impossible. The laws of physics are violated if we accept that the buildings fell as quickly as they would in a free fall while simultaneously pulverizing all of the concrete, discharging material hundreds of feet away from the buildings and leaving heat sources which were detected weeks after the implosions. In addition, neither tower was troubled very much with the enormous amount of friction involved when an upper floor falls on the one immediately below. (For example, if floor 97 collides with floor 96 the friction of the lower floor’s concrete, steel trusses, desks, chairs and people, etc. would slow the collapse down.) Without energy inputs, neither the North nor South towers could have collapsed as quickly they did solely from the potential kinetic energy from gravity that they each had available to them.

The more one examines the events of 9/11/01 the more scientifically impossible and logically implausible they become. Meanwhile, the Bush regime has used 911 to shred the Bill of Rights (via the USA PATRIOT Act), invade two sovereign nations illegally (i.e., Afghanistan and Iraq), install a concentration camp (i.e., Guantanamo Bay) and to lay innumerable foundations of a domestic police state. With neoconservatives now writing articles in mainstream publications which suggest that the US will be soon be “attacked” as it was on 9/11/01, and that when it happens Bush will declare martial law, the Nation’s frequent support for the Empire’s propaganda on 911 is inconsistent with my progressive ideals.

Sincerely,

SL

Another moron no doubt.

Beyond the obvious mental illness this shitbird exhibits, his fantastical analysis is nonsense. Beyond his dim take on physics, his theory, which is so often trumpetted by the jackasses around here (hello sheep and dio) is based on the ridiculous notion that the buidings fell with "free fall "speed.

Dumb...just plain dumb.

Wherein you would need a 10X micro scope to find Bush Admirer's brain, you'd need a scatological exam to find fresca's
Anybody familiar with HE building demo would share your observation.
The give away is the huge dust clouds of pulverized concrete.

Monkeyboy and his wife always jump on this kind of reasoning with fresca spewing about savage arabs or such and monkeyboy calling people dumb.

Now how did I know that there was NO WAY that ol' sheep was gonna let this thread go past without whimpering and whining.

Nice job sheepers.

What's the latest conspiracy on the streets these days fruitcake?

It is clear that the mentioned monikers are used by people aligned with KOBE, supporting KOBE goals, and parroting KOBE statements. Any reasonable person would assume that they are KOBE.

KOBE has been linked to Cycorp of Austin, Texas. KOBE has been linked to Sigma Data Systems of Tucson, AZ. Cycorp has been linked, through former IndyMedia volunteer Michael Witbrock, to Boston IndyMedia. Michael Witbrock is a senior manager at Cycorp and Cycorp works directly for the Information Awareness Office.

Cycorp also works for DISA. DISA and Cycorp are part of a project with TAG (http://www.tag.com). TAG is an NSA asset.

Boston IndyMedia should be considered unsafe. The status of LA IndyMedia is unknown. No evidence links LA IndyMedia to KOBE. I doubt that LA IndyMedia is anything other than what it appears to be - a legitimate IndyMedia outlet.

It is easily confirmed that the Towers fell almost at the same speed as they would in a freefall. There is plenty of video of the collapses. Also, there is new technology you might want to consider reading about. It is called a "stopwatch".

SL. Your grasp of physics is a loose one at best.

I suggest that you spend a little less time with your internet video clips and stopwatch and a bit more time hitting even a Freshman level physics book.

But then again, what's the point? You're obviously given to myths and fanatasy.

It is comforting to know that you and simpletons like sheep are soooo tormented by your delusions. I hardly wish to dispel them.

As richly superior intellectually I am to you, my words will never shatter the iron curtain of mental illness.
