On Saturday, December 6th from 8pm to 12am the UJSC (University of Judaism Strike Committee) and LASSO (Los Angeles Strikers Solidarity Organaization) present a benefit for the workers of UFCW Local 770. Please come and support these hardworking people fighting for affordable healthcare.

Quick point of clarification on the University of Judaism Strike Committee (UJSC). We are not an officially sponsored organization of the University of Judaism (UJ) but our membership is entirely comprised of students of the UJ. Just a little disclaimer that the UJ's administration asked us to add.

That's damn funny. An honest day's pay is GOOD PAY, not low pay. It's honest to pay people most of what they make for the company. It's dishonest when a PROFITABLE company CUTS compensation.
