Those bombers look like
flying cockroaches.
The B-2 Spirit is an incredible technological achievement, built for the defense of freedom.
Yes, even your freedom, Meyer.
You look at it and see dead babies. I realize you can't help it; you've been indoctrinated by the freedom- and America-hating socialist who fear any sort of American military and technological superiority.
The Spirit is designed to penetrate enemy defenses, engage its target with precision-guided munitions (destroying tagets of military value and minimizing collateral damage, i.e., dead civilians), and returning to its base, ensuring survivability of its aircrew.
Contrast the Spirit with the B-17 used in WWII. Hundreds of bombers were sortied, dropping thousands fo tons of bombs to destroy a single target, wiping out entire city blocks and hundreds of innocent lives. As many as 50% of the -17s didn't make it back, succumbing to AA fire and German fighters. Each bomber had a crew of 11 or so.
Even Meyer has to admit the Spirit is a better way of doing business.
But, predictably, he won't, because he refuses to admit there's even a need for such technology.
