Cultural Center of Anahuac to Host Educational Forum About Thanksgiving
On Sunday, November 23, from 12-4 PM, the Cultural Center of Anahuac will host an educational presentation and dialogue. The following events are scheduled:
1. Presentation (video)- "Why I Am Not Thankful for Thanksgiving."
We will show a video of a presentation/discussion by CCA members, Ce Coatl and Tenamazti Tonantzin. They discuss the origins of the Thanksgiving holiday and the devastating effects of colonization on Indigenous people.
2. A representative of the Ajachamen people will discuss their situation at Putiidhem and their struggle to stop development on their burial ground in San Juan Capistrano.
3. Vidal Hua'can of the Taino Nation (the first people Columbus encountered) will speak about their struggle for self-determination and recognition and their fight to stop the recognition of "Columbus Day" as a national holiday.
4. Kwaku Duren of the New Panther Vanguard Movement will discuss the need for Indigenous and African solidarity and resistance.
A discussion/dialogue about planning for future actions will follow the presentations.
The event will take place at the Cultural Center of Mexico at 1522 S. Main St. in Santa Ana, at the cross streets of Main and Edinger.

It is good that you included exact contact information because I know that Nonanarchist and the boys will want to get exact driving or public transit info so they won't miss a moment of this.
I don't hink there's bus service between South Carolina and Santa Ana.
Regarding the event itself, you people just suck the life out of everything you touch, don't you?
Why the heck would I want to attend a meeting of absolutely miserable people so determined to make everyone else miserable, too?
I'll pass, thanks. Clipping an ingrown toenail would be more entertaining.
