The video Unprecedented details how votes were lost. Florida was rigged. Had the state of Florida gone Dem, Gore would have won. The votes were rigged, and I don't mean just the butterfly ballots.

No, thousands of people were denied their voting rights because they were called ex-felons, but they were NOT ex-felons, just people with somewhat similar names.

African Americans were turned away at the polls. Ballot boxes were lost. Republicans flew in to protest, making fake mobs, when the recounts were happening.

The coup-de-grace? Gore did not demand a recount in the counties with significant African American populations. He wimped out and lost. Did Nader split the vote? Hard to say, but probably not. The typical Nader voter wasn't likely to vote anyway.
