SOLIDARITY FOREVER - START NOW!
Support Grocery Workers
Adopt A Store
United Food and Commercial Workers Union (UFCW) representing 70,000 grocery workers in Southern California is currently entering our third week of a labor dispute with Vons, Ralphs, and Albertsons. UFCW members are in a fight to preserve affordable healthcare, liveable wages and job securty. We are calling on all labor organizations, community groups and other coalitions to "Adopt A Store."
This is a everyone’s fight and only with your support, will we be able to win affordable health care for all Americans. When you Adopt A Store you have the unique ability to support our workers by:
· Providing spiritual and emotional support motivating them to stay strong on the lines;
· Making donations, walking picket lines and any other assistance. This fight is not only about grocery workers, but about all workers both union and non-union and the ability of working families to have decent working conditions and wages, and most importantly affordable healthcare.
UFCW Local 770 has over 245 stores that are in need of your assistance. This is your chance to make a significant contribution to saving affordable healthcare for all working families.
Good Jobs with Affordable Health Care
