Kind of a moot point, isn't it?

by nonanarchist Saturday, Oct. 25, 2003 at 11:48 AM

I mean, we already had the war.

Perhaps you heard about it. It was in all the papers.

out of it

by Meyer London Saturday, Oct. 25, 2003 at 12:00 PM

Maybe the news hasn't yet reached your remote hamlet in the backwoods of Kern County, Nonanarchist, but the war is still going on; more troops have been killed since Bushytail made his farcical landing off the California coast dressed as Captain Midnight. Not to mention the hundreds, more likely thousands of Iraqis who have died from hostile fire, disease or untreated injuries. Wake up; they probably have a radio down at the truck stop.

objecting to an Americans right to free speech, freedom of association, and the right to assemble.
He might know if he read the constitution once in a while.
maybe the federalist papers?
what about "the peoples history of the United States"?
But, I'll bet he dosent read much, but watches alot of teevee!

ML & Sissie

by nonanarchist Saturday, Oct. 25, 2003 at 12:15 PM

ML: The war's still going on? Really? Then you guys still have a chance! Got your "No Blood For Oil!" sign polished up?

BTW, I'm not in Kern County. Try again!

Sissie: Where you been? I haven't seen any of your brand of lunacy in a while.

"objecting to an Americans right to free speech, freedom of association, and the right to assemble."

Really? Where did I say that? Or are you paying too much attention to the voices in your head again?

by Meyer London Saturday, Oct. 25, 2003 at 2:24 PM

Three more killed today, one shot to death and two blown apart by mortar shells. Still think the war or over?

Yup.

by nonanarchist Saturday, Oct. 25, 2003 at 2:44 PM

Can you say, "police action"?

I'm sorry the body counts, on both sides, are disappointing to you guys.

I remember when you were salivating over the prospect of a half-million casualties.

It must really suck for you yo-yos to have been so wrong.

things we were right about

by systemfailure Saturday, Oct. 25, 2003 at 11:37 PM

at least we we were not wrong about the WMD's
and
the Iraqis greeting us on our way in
or
about the long guerilla war
or
the long quagmire of war
or
it costing BILLIONS more than expected
or
not being able to find Osama or saddam
or
seeing our American soldiers die for corporations

ps
i never left
i just observed from afar

Too bad. When you weren'tposting, the average intelligence in here went up quite a bit.

As for the rest of your reply, don't vote yourself the Nobel Peace Prize just yet.

"more killed"

by Max Sunday, Oct. 26, 2003 at 6:31 AM

Damn shame too. I certainly wish no one had to give his life for freedom, liberty, and democracy.

But it's never been that way, and it is not now.

What's the death toll up to now, Meyer London? This war is going on one year now, and I think we've lost ~400 soldiers. Every one of them giving his life for the greater good.

None of those hippy liberals from ANSWER that are on CSPAN right now, would give their lives for squat.

Preaching you message of "peace" with a voice filled with hate just won't cut it. Americans see right through you fifth column leftists. Self-marginalized and insignificant.

But very entertaining to watch!
