I was just reading the the LA Times business section (weird how they don't have a Labor section?) about California businessmen COMPLAINING and WHINING about the business conditions in Cali. I thought cheap labor conservatives never COMPLAIN and WHINE. "oOOo the cost of doing business is too much, oOOo how will I pay my miniscule property taxes without CHEAP labor". And then one guy pointed to his workers and said," These people put me on the BEACH(emphasis mine) and it's my responsibility to keep them in their jobs." I wonder how many of these jobs pay enough so they can "be on the beach". Oh that's right 6.75 is the minimum wage that is breaking the back of Cali business.
