Enron memos obtained by Greg Palast links Schwarzenegger and Enron scheme to derail lawsuit by Bustamante for $9 billion filched from California electricity and gas customers.
Investigative reporter Greg Palast, who previously reported on corruption and irregularities in the Florida corrupt 2000 presidential election, is now reporting Enron memos showing Schwarzenegger met with Ken Lay on May 17, 2001, and links Arnold to Enron plans to derail California's law suit, brought by Cruz Bustamante, to recover $9 billion for California's electricity and gas customers. We need some specifics to talk this one around, although their is obvious linkage.
I disagree with you, and think a governor's character is very important. If he did a few silly things its one thing, but these allegations on molestation are pretty big, and will probably get bigger. A smut magazine has a story that he had sex with a minor, while his wife was in another room. This may get serious, and the people of California don't need the baggage either way.

More Harrassment Calims Hit Arnie
"Anna Richardson, a British television host, said Schwarzenegger touched her breast when she was interviewing on a promotional tour for "The Sixth Day." Ms. Richardson, who previously told "Premiere" magazine about the alleged was accused by Hollywood publicist then working with Ms. Schwarzenegger of fabricating the story."

SCHWARZENEGGER ADMIRED HITLER
ADAM NAGOURNEY and DAVID D. KIRKPATRICK, NY TIMES - A film producer who chronicled Arnold Schwarzenegger's rise to fame as a champion bodybuilder in the 1970's circulated a book proposal six years ago that quoted the young Mr. Schwarzenegger expressing admiration for Adolf Hitler. The book proposal by the producer, George Butler, included what were presented as verbatim excerpts from interviews with Mr. Schwarzenegger in the filming of the documentary "Pumping Iron." In a part of the interview not used in the film, Mr. Schwarzenegger was asked to name his heroes - "who do you admire most."
"It depends for what," Mr. Schwarzenegger said, according to the transcript in the book proposal. "I admired Hitler, for instance, because he came from being a little man with almost no formal education up to power. And I admire him for being such a good public speaker."
In addition to the transcript, Mr. Butler wrote in his book proposal that in the 1970's, he considered Mr. Schwarzenegger a "flagrant, outspoken admirer of Hitler." In the proposal, Mr. Butler also said he had seen Mr. Schwarzenegger playing "Nazi marching songs from long-playing records in his collection at home" and said that the actor "frequently clicked his heels and pretended to be an S.S. officer."

The Democrats once again are practicing the politics of personal destruction. We see it with the Bush bashing on a daily basis, and now with Arnold S. and Rush Limbaugh. When you can't compete in the arena of ideas, the only thing left is to attempt to undermine the character of your enemy. It is this to which the Democratic Party and liberalism has been reduced.
