Camp Pendleton March/Rally/Outreach

Peace and Justice Movement Reaches Out to Troops / Bring Them Home Now!

Saturday, September 27th, 2003 11:00am - 3:00pm

Camp Pendleton, CA

Oceanside Harbor Gate

Rally/March/Outreach

Orange County Peace Coalition, San Diego Vets for Peace, Orange County Vets for Peace, North County Coaltion for Peace, and others will meet at the Oceanside Harbor and walk to the main gate of Camp Pendleton to tell the troops we want them to come home. We will have a press conference, speakers, music and open mic. This is a party not a protest. Violent speech or actions are not welcome. This outreach is for those sailors and marines that are ready to hear a message of peace with justice.

The mainstream news media has painted the Peace Movement as being "anti-US troops" and this is NOT true. We are against them being used as cannon fodder. We are against them being used as an arm of empire. Iraq was never a threat to the United States and Iraq never attacked the United States. The invasion and occupation of Iraq is illegal, immoral and unnecessary.

Come join us to say:

Bring the Troops Home Now!

NO Iraqi Christmas for US Troops

Do Not Leave them "Between Iraq and a Hard Place"

World Peace is Cheaper than World War

Money for Schools and Healthcare NOT Warfare.

Peace is Patriotic

Dissent is as American as Apple Pie.

Whose World is it. Whose Country is it?

the people in iraq (army) are there becuase they want to be. so stop crying and saying we want our troops home, (they should of never sighned up for enlistment if they didnt want to go there). also, if you dislike the way this country is run then go to france were you belong.
