..
We were planning on doing a benefit show for Shermie in september, but since all this went down yesterday and he's going in sooner than we thought we are planning an emergency benefit show for the end of August, we already have a location, now we need volunteers for outreach since the date is coming up soon, we also need a DJ and a some hip hop act along with other bands. We have to put this together QUICKLY, sherman has to pay a $2,000 fine, and we can't make his jail time go by fast at least we can help lessen the financial burden. PLEASE PLEASE help out if you can and if you would like to volunteer contact me at liveiranlive@riseup.net or call me at 949-436-1188 thanx chantel

Anybody attenting your "benefit" will be flagged for profiling. Vehicles will be coinveniently parked, allowing much easier recording of license plates, acquiring of photos, and and opportunity to arrest many of you "activists" as easily as minnows caught in a tire. Sherman Austin has already given most of you would-be supporters up by surrendering his computers (which have detailed access logs and other information on them).
BENEFIT????? The benefit is that Sherman Austin is going to jail, making REAL Americans just a little safer from anarchy.

Some fucking benefit. The FBI sends another kid off to the slammer for publishing the same crap the CIA distributes across the globe. Meanwhile, back at the ranch house, W shreds what's left of the Constitution. All the while, FBI pussies waste their time on free speech cases with no merit. Sherman's lucky the FBI didn't bomb him like they did to Judy Bari. Safe from anarchy? Get real! No one is safe from the oil-soaked plutocrats, or haven't you FBi pigs heard yet? The few FBI agents who tried to blow the whistle on 911 got demoted to kiddie harassment duty. I'd feel safer with Sherman than I ever would with and FBI pig.

Here's an idea. Why not take pictures of the ham fisted FBI fuckwits that go around recording license plates? In my dealings with these brain dead assholes, I have found them ALWAYS to be obvious tards and lameos who would be swabbing toilets if not for the promis of a government check since they are far too stupid to be lawyers or polititions.

The FBI is the FBI, and you are not. The Government is in charge, and you are not. Anarchists get hassled and thrown in jail, the FBI does not. Bush is the President, and you are not. Americans control Iraq, Saddam does not. America is the most powerful country on earth, and the others are NOT. Sherman Austin is going to prison....really, he is!
All statements of fact, and no amount of whining, no clever retorts and no long-winded diatribe coming from any of you limp-wristed, sorry ass anti-American traitorous MORONS is going to change any of it. Wasted keystrokes, wasted minds, wasted tears for a dream which can NEVER come into reality. Anarchy? Communism? Socialism? in the United States of America?????? NEVER IN YOUR LIFETIME, MORONS!

Near as I can tell Sherman never did anything illegal. Posting those instructions is not illegal. There are countless legal books available for purchase with instructions on how to build bombs.
Inciting others to violence is a crime, though I see no evidence to show that he has incited anyone to violence nor that his words would incite anyone to violence.
This case reeks of the Bernie S. case where he was imprisoned for having technology with which he could use to clone cell phones. No evidence was ever presented that he had cloned a cell phone and put illegal charges on another's bill.
The Feds went after him because they wanted to make an example out of him. Its another case of might makes right, or "We've got the Bombs".
What we need if we ever want to change this country is not anarchy but direct democracy where the people make the laws and vote on the laws. And where the corporate lobbyists (aka our politicians) are in retirement homes
Kobe's statements in this thread remind me of the NIN song "Happiness in Slavery"
KOBE SBM: I hope Sherman gets his little asshole widened, and comes out a changed man.
Please, go on a little bit longer with these thoughts, maybe the feds will put you away for inciting prison inmates to violence, then maybe you'll come out a changed man, one who doesn't wish rape upon others.

Frederick Douglass:
Those who profess to favor freedom and yet depreciate agitation, are people who want crops without ploughing the ground; they want rain without thunder and lightning; they want the ocean without the roar of its many waters. The struggle may be a moral one, or it may be a physical one, or it may be both. But it must be a struggle. Power concedes nothing without a demand; it never has and it never will.
Goethe:
None are so hopelessly enslaved as those who falsely believe they are free.

Help him pay a $2000 fine?
If he can't pay then they will accept a payment plan of a few bucks a month. It is not as if he is going to lose his home is it?
From what I hear Mr Austin is going to be living rent free for the next year anyway!
I think you anarchists are holding a "benefit show" so you can get some money to pay for webhosting to further your "cause"
How many anarchists are in the USA?
Ask them to send money and anything over $2000 donate to the Red Cross... or Amnesty International....
Thinking about it, have your benefit to pay his $2000 fine. Then openly publish WHERE THE REST OF THE MONEY YOU COLLECTED WENT!
Do the right thing......

Only 20 years old, yet Sherman Austin has taken a stronger, more truthful stand against the corruption that is the USA today. His crime? Being more truthful than Bush, or any elected politician about the state of affairs today. You're a HERO Sherman, and the venom with which the courts have attacked you is a testimony to that.
Godspeed!
I hope it's the shortest 12 months you'll ever spend. The judge should be imprisoned.

you're thinking isn't too rational because you obviously know very little about the experiances of those who have delt with the criminal justice system. People don't take plea bargins because they feel they are guilty. They do it because they have little faith in the system giving them a fair trial. I see it all the time. Young black males get pressured into taking a plea because they're threatend with 20 years in prison if they go to trial. What would you do? Have an unfair trail and be convicted for something you didnt do and go to prison for 20 years, or take a plea for something you didn't do and go to prison for 1 year? Sure if you had the money and resources youd probibly try and fight it. Even then your ass would still end up in prison for 20 years. To sit there and trash on sherman simply because he didn't Martyr himself is bullshit. He's already put forth enough sacrifice for the struggle while you just sit on your ass and type arrogant rants all day.

you people judging sherman don't even get it do you?he posted a LINK to a website with the reclaim guide if the point is to catch criminals or "intent" than the person who had the original site would be in jail. Amazon.com would be shut down with selling books with that info on it.. you can go to www.google.com and type in "how to make a pipe bomb" or "how to make a smoke bomb" and come up with so many hits with the same info that was on the reclaim guide
as a friend of mine said it best " the folks behind the stormfront webpage (a white power,neo-nazi site) are still walking the streets, and they had instructions on how to build carbombs on their site.(where it was stated theat tehy were 'bombs to blow up those stupid niggers cars')"
the issue is clearly not about what was posted if it was illegal or not, it's about Sherman and raisethefist about taking something down that was promoting free thought and expression.. this is political and political alone!

The sheer ignorance displayed by certain individuals who decided to post is, well...read the title. In a perfect world, I think, it would be unfeeling moronic fucks like you serving jail time, not people like Sherman who are courageous enough to engage in positive action in service of their beliefs, beliefs that are rooted in a desire for positive change beneficial to all. [Regardless of their practicality mind you, the intent is genuine and that is what should be admired.]
And as a brief aside, I'd be interested in seeing what percentage of those posting negative comments in regard to Sherman's plight are American citizens of the white republican variety....just curious.
Peace,
Seba Aethiad

He did plead guilty didn't he? What were the charges he plead guilty to? Did anyone post the indictment? I used to practice federal criminal defense. A judge will only accept a guilty plea if he is absolutely sure tha the defendant is guilty. No, the "system" cannot railroad guilty pleas in federal court. I have yet to meet an attorney who will let an innocent defendant plead guilty. By the way, there is probably no use raising money for him. Under all the plea agreements I've done, the defendant gives up his right to appeal.
