AIJAZ AHMAD is a leading political thinker, cultural critic and eminent academic. Currently he is Visiting Professor at the Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi, India, and Visiting Professor of Political Science, York University, Toronto, Canada. He has previously taught at the City University of New York and Rutgers University in the United States. He has authored several books and lectured widely around the world.  Professor Aijaz Ahmad specializes in South Asian politics and society as a whole particularly in the face of global changes and challenges. At the core of his concerns is the nexus between globalization, state and nation. In his studies he concentrates on issues like political economy, political Islam, post-colonialism and literary criticism. He is also a senior Consulting Editor at Frontline Magazine, Chennai, India.

For all who do not know Aijaz Ahmed this is a chance to really know a true scholar. Who, perhaps is the only one that can "deconstruct the right wing noe liberal theorists".. A must listen to lecture.
