The New X

by The New X Friday, Apr. 25, 2003 at 8:04 PM

it happened.

what i dont get is why those responsible wont take responsibility for their actions. it is absolutely necessary to recognize these crimes in order to be able to forgive and move forward.

why?

"what i dont get is why those responsible wont take responsibility for their actions."

How about "because they're all dead?"

It happened in 1915.

if it, as you say, happened in 1915

why then does the turkish government try to deny that it ever happened?

Good Job

by Chantel G. Saturday, Apr. 26, 2003 at 7:13 PM

Im glad to hear that the protest went well, im happy that LA IMC is also covering this issue.. because for a long time it felt and still feels like only people in the middle east/tureky/aremenia know about the Armenian Genocide. the History behind it is so rich and tragic, and it's very encouraging to see more and more people actually willing to educate themselves about it.
Keep the struggle going, you are doing a great job!
