Admitting when I am wrong...
After being taken to task at a recent seminar in Washington, I found my arguments were without enough valid substance to continue with my position. Being a man means also admitting when you have erred. Henceforth, I admit that General Motors is the most generous employers in the nation and, in fact, makes people like Honda and Toyota look like slave-drivers and greedy pick-pocketers. After the fateful day of 9-11, according to a subsequent Wall Street Feature column, it was, in fact, G.M. that picked up our sluggish economy and carried it so far. Being a man of conviction also means understanding when you are wrong. This has nothing to do with my other beliefs. Only to clarify a point. Your Friend, Michael
