These problems have been pointed out a few times on other threads. One of the worst jobs on this is the man supposedly holding the anti-Chirac sign. Please look at the bottom of the poster and notice also that the man has 3 hands. These photos wherever they came from have been doctored.

As to some of the photos with US flags, the color intensity and hue is the same for certain colors over the entire surface of the flag. The easiest one to check is the color red. When you get down to the pixel level, it is apparent. No photo like this contains pixel after pixel of red hues all the same. When the numbers come up, there are identical. There is not explanation for this except that someone has gone to a lot of trouble to do this.

Computer programs are only so good. They some times can alter photos to the point where it is very difficult to see. But these do not appear to have been done on a computer. It appears to have been hand done.

You've all stooped to a new low. Can you not accept ANYTHING that refutes your arguments? are you people so fucking desperate that you honestly want anyone to believe that these are all doctored photos? The photo of the little boy with the missing arms has NOT been altered. Check it yourself. Obviously someone added it to the poster which was made, but the photo is real. There is NO evidence of alterations whatsoever as to the photo itself.

Look, first of all I know a thing or two about Photoshop and I did enlarge them and I can't find anything wrong with them. With the ones which aren't obvious fakes that is. The flag bandana and the human shield signs seem very phony. But the others simply hold up. Maybe you're right. Maybe I'm blind. But my point is this...why is it that it's such a kneejerk reaction to claim that every picture of Iraqis celebrating or in any way, demonstrating anything even remotely pro-American is an obvious forgery, yet EVERY picture of a civilian wound or death is beyond reproach. Why is it that ONLY one side can possibly be considered suspicious?

diogenesis is absolutely correct in stating that an american company sold cultures of smallpox, antrax...etc. The sales were okayed by the government. However it's not as if we sold it directly to saddam or to the iraqi military. Saddam used dummy research companies and placed bogus orders in the names of higher learning institutions. The us did not hand the iraqis bio/chemical weapons as completed entities. If saddam ordered these cultures in his own name and stated he intended to weaponize the germs he would not have been sold to. Companies around the world at the time would sell anyone a culture if they could provide the paperwork showing they were a research lab or a learning institution. So it wouldn't be that hard to manipulate a sale as the head of a state. Stating that the reason the iraqi's have chemical weapons is because the us gave them to iraq is overstating the fact. We sold them cultures, they fermented the cultures and put them into their own weapons(under false pretense). Even if the us red flagged the sale the iraqi's would have gotten from somewhere else in a matter of weeks and then they would be blamed for arming the iraqi's
