Anti-Propaganda Stickers Released

by Benjamin Franklin Saturday, Apr. 05, 2003 at 10:20 PM

Fight Marketing with Marketing with Anti-Bush Anti-Propaganda Stickers

download PDF (360.7 kibibytes)

An American graphic artist and marketing specialist, having decided that the continuing coverage of the Iraq invasion on American mass media is completely one-sided, has come up with another small way to demonstrate to the populace that many Americans are not only against the invasion, but also against Bush even being the president.

Since the American mass media continues to portray Bush as a hero, the only way to change the public perception of the man is to portray him in the more honest negative view. The public needs to see Bush portrayed as he really is, and needs to see this as much as possible, as widely as possible, since the media will not portray him honestly.

The average American cannot afford to buy advertising time on network television or space in national magazines and newspapers. They can afford to print stickers and posters and anyone with access to a laserprinter can join the revolution to return America to Americans.

For a start, the above-mentioned artist has created stickers that are formatted to print on Avery 3 1/2" diskette labels (item #8196). They are already starting to appear across America. Download the PDF. Print them out. Put them up. Why stickers? You can print lots of them. Cut up the sheets after printing and you can always have some in your pocket. You can put them up quickly. You can put up lots of them.

Remember, the idea is to change perceptions, not anger people. Think before you put up a sticker. Lamp posts are good; the middle of storefront window is bad. Marketing is a powerful tool; it can change beliefs. If an advertising campaign can convince people that Coors Lite tastes good, another one can get people to realize that George Bush is not the solution; he is the problem.
