iraqi attitude towards british troops

italian media today shown iraqi attitude toward british troops

today all the italian news programs shown one of the most incredible scene of the war in Iraq. A convoy of the UNDP escorted by british troops distributed food to the population of a small village in the Faw peninsula, an area populated by scitis population "liberated" since the first day of war. The iraqis, after the distribution, started to sing a patriotic song and then chanted slogans against Bush. The british sergent was incredulous and when the reporter asked him the reason of that situation, he said that since the first day the iraqi people was totaly ostile to the troops, even when they give them food, water or medicines.
I don't know if you in America saw the same scene, but i think you must to know that iraqi people won't receive troops with flowers, as someone in your government said some days ago.
respect for the americans that opposite this criminal war!

What the Fuck are We Doing In Iraq Anyhow?

by Bush is a War Criminal Thursday, Mar. 27, 2003 at 2:03 PM

OK, so Georgie's Tex-ass oil friends need the oil. We all know that. So tell me, what other reason are we over there liberating people that hate our guts and have not interest in being liberated. We are liberating them by killing them and by killing the American troops we have sent over there.

May you go to Hell, George Bush, for what you have done. It is immoral and illegal. Just like Richard Nixon, you think that it will win you the next presidential election - like you really won the last one - HA!! What is your slogan for 2004? Peace is at hand, so leave me in the White House for another 4 years of war?

IMPEACH THIS BASTARD NOW. There is no legitimate reason for us to be over there. It is Bush's War. Let the old bastard go and fight it himself and take his drunken daughters with him and his coke-headed niece too.

Simple

by Simple Simon Thursday, Mar. 27, 2003 at 2:08 PM

Do yourself a favor. Get push your car to the nearest used car lot and sell it. Root through your closet and throw out everything made with petroleum products. Take all the plastic out of your home. Sell it all. Then take the proceeds and buy yourself a tepee somewhere and never use oil again.

Then you won't sound like such an ignorant jackass.

Wow. I make absolutely no sense at all. I do, however, love to rationalize the actions of our fascist president. Heil Bush!

Reaction of Iraqi civilians

by sid Thursday, Mar. 27, 2003 at 2:26 PM

About the "hostile" reaction of these Iraqi civilians, I absolutely could not care less. As long as you don't shoot at us, we won't kill you, and let's leave it at that.

And then a year from now, when these a-holes are not being shot and tortured by the secret police, maybe THEN they'll sing a different tune.

Well, by that time

by mediawatcher Thursday, Mar. 27, 2003 at 2:46 PM

it may not matter because Americans will be the ones suffering under Bush's secret police and the Office of "Homeland Security."

People should make note of the fact that Iraqis don't want us there because we are hypocritically killing them and then giving them food; to say nothing of the violation of their sovereignty.
