The photo attached to this shows him getting arrested. He had a Palestinian flag that the police took away from him. They said he hit an officer on the helmet with it. If you witnessed what happened in the lead up to him getting arrested please help! He's being held on ,000 bail and doesn't have a lawyer. Please email me if you have any information.

Have you gotten in touch with the Lawyers Guild? They might be able to help.

"The Chapter does not have lawyers on staff, but from time to time its members will provide pro bono assistance to persons arrested during political protests. Requests should be made to the office"

i was as near to his arrest as any could legally. I saw no such thing. As far as i know, he was among the 80 who peacefully carried out civil disobedience. The LAPD disgusts me. They have used violence and force against peaceful protesters today, and are using lies against those under arrest. I am sickened and dissapointed. All those on the right-wing take note: your civil liberties are gone, and we have been overrun by a fascist, out-of-control government

I saw the entire thing and from what I could tell, he was stuck in-between two cars, a cop on a horse and people and therefor could not "move" when he was told, and then the cop on the horse HIT him with his huge stick! The man did nothing to the police officer ont he horse. I have pictures, but they came out shitty :(

He should know better than to fuck with the LAPD.

to the LAPD public relations division, I'll see if they like your support of police brutality. Maybe they can trace your shit and we'll let them sic Eschelon on you for a minute. I've spoken to officers who abhore police brutality. And I've been arrested by those who practice it in everything they do. If the cops don't protect us, we should fire them. They are violating the law. They should be in jail too. It's about time we demanded it. Bad cops ruin it for everybody else. The police began their history protecting protesters. They must be forced to renew their vow to do so. To the Supreme Court you go Moises! As for police hate crime advocate, I'm calling James Hahn on you.

Did I miss something? this guy does not look like he is being mistreated. In fact I would say that the officer is being rather gentle with him. Regarding the officers lieing about being assaulted, why would they do that. That means more paperwork, more heartaches, more grilling by the attorneys. Speaking of attorneys, why would he need someone to help him out with an attorney, we will all be paying for his attorney, which is guaranteed.
