Report on 03-21-03. We had another tense evening in Westwood and West LA. The police tried again to intimidate the protesters with their excessive show of force. Many people got arrested, but the march went on anyway. The demonstrators put on another good show for the world to see. It felt so good to be there again with these beautiful people. On this picture three cops are preventing people to join the protestors, at the 405 exit on Wilshire boulevard. At this point the police were all around the demonstrator. The police told the crowd that they would start to arrest the whole group of marchers, but they did not follow through. Today (03-22-03) the demonstration on Hollywood boulevard and Wine at 12 Noon should be another huge success. I see you all there.

The police arrested another hero on Sepulveda boulevard. The guy had just stepped into the car. I missed that one.

Intimidation was at work here. The police warned the group of protestors that they would be arrested soon. The police didn't follow through. At this point, they are surrounding all the demonstrators.

That was another stand off at Santa Monica boulevard and Purdue. The police don't allow the people to cross the street.

I can tell by their attitude that a good number of cops are against the war. On Wednesday, one cop allowed a photographer to take a picture of him. The cop was signing "peace." Unfortunatly I didn't take a picture. Some policemen are decent people. I try to keep that in mind at the demonstrations.
