I just have to say, on a side note, that the woman who lead, inspired, and comforted us tonight was incredible. You know who you are. Thank you.

The same cop who got protestors on the corner earlier on in the evening aggressed on protestors as they stood on the corner. Not sure what happened there.

A line of police officers followed the demonstrators. Bicycle cops rode along side, and motorcycle cops blocked side streets.

All of the protestors were under the impression that when they arrived back at the Federal Building they would disperse and go home. Much to their dismay, the protestors were surrounded once again by more than a hundred police officers.

Finally, protestors were told to disperse...and went home after a relatively peaceful night of protest. They were all afraid there was going to be violence on the part of the cops, but thankfully, there wasn't.

Feels good to have a voice, doesn't it?
And in other news, a couple of hours ago Fox News showed live video of a liberated Iraqi citizen who was gleefully ripping down a large picture of Saddam and wailing the crap out of it with his shoe.
FREEEEDOM!

If a foreign power came in and deposed George W for waging an illegal war, or ruining the democracy in general, or for running a fundamentalist government designed to make whire collar criminals even richer, then I too would cheer.
I would rip up a picture of George W myself and cheer when someone threw a match on the scraps.
Oh, if only someone would rescue us from our warmongering dictator!

Making the same mistakes the Germans did coming into Russia. Killing and destroying. They really love us. They really love us! Ask the regular downtown Baghdad dude or the troops now surrendering in droves like the last time. Of course you have lunatics that still are misguided and resisting...mere details to the grand plan. Light up another cigar.
