Police Brutality?

by Hawkeye Friday, Mar. 21, 2003 at 12:53 PM

Heidi, I don't see any roughing up by the police in your photos. Copy right is pretty lame since images are worthless, you need to take a class in photo journalism, oh you did and flunked.

look closer

by Emma Friday, Mar. 21, 2003 at 1:11 PM

Look at the news reels if you want the bashing and the violence. These pictures are serene and surreal, making everything look just as eerie and desperate as they are. If you could see the bruises on Heidi's chest from the harsh contact of the baton. This is another angle, and it mirrors the desperation and solitude that we are feeling. We don't need more, excessive negative energy.

Support our Troops. Stop the War.

by Asshole Friday, Mar. 21, 2003 at 2:41 PM

While the Bush administration and the Republican majority has passed motions that will see a $25 million cut in the Dept. of Veterans Affairs budget and passed a motion that will stop advertising of benefits to Veterans I have to ask what these fucking pigs are doing out attacking protestors.

Listen pigs: the best thing you can do is to go after the criminals that run the country. Leave the protestors alone, and if you want to argue that you're not all the same then start arresting the power-tripping hyssie-fiiting little fucks like Mayberry.

Until you do that you're just enemies of law, enemies of order and enemies of democracy.

You're supposed to protect us from criminals like Bush, the Enron-execs, Admiral Poindexter and Ollie North. Not attack peaceful protestors.

If you have pussies in your ranks like Mayberry then discipline him, you look like a pack of fags.

They did what was necessary

by The LAW Friday, Mar. 21, 2003 at 2:52 PM

Read the laws retards and you may be surprised what you can't do. You were being disruptive so they had to deal with you. Did you ever have an officer tell you to "keep the noise down." Well chances are, if you didn't you were arrested for a public disturbance. You break the law, you pay. You can let your voices be heard the legal way. If you guys were trying to blockade my building, I'd have all of you fucking losers arrested too. Why not do something constructive, like looking for employment? I find it hard to believe that everyone there had jobs and were permitted to take the day off to commit an act of shame to your country!

GOD BLESS OUR LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS, OUR TROOPS, OUR PRESIDENT, THE KURDS, and FOX NEWS!!!!!!!

The LAW forbids assaults and recognizes proportional response

by Law of God Friday, Mar. 21, 2003 at 4:17 PM

Officer Mayberry committed several assaults upon citizens. He is obviously an undertrained undisciplined embarrasment. There was no need for violence with this crowd and this goon broke the laws.

If he can't conduct himself with the gravity and calm required of an officer of the law then he should be dumped. He's a wussie and is a danger to his fellow officers and the public.

Anyone defending him is defending his assaults upon unarmed, peaceful non-provocative citizens. Yap all you like those are the facts and if you were interested in order and law you wouldn't be disputing them.

I expect I'll be paying out in some settlement because of his retarded hysterical behavior and the failure of his colleagues to exercise some control over him.

Goons like that have no place on the force.

i feel sorry for you

by Emma Friday, Mar. 21, 2003 at 5:42 PM

wow, you're lucky. you must feel like you really fit in here. fit in perfectly, in this country, the way it is now. a fascist regime. congratulations, aren't you fortunate.

p.s. somehow it doesnt seem fit to have someone, who's back is turned, get hit on the spine with the baton of a law enforcement officer. to serve and protect right? im sure

Timing

by Basher IV Friday, Mar. 21, 2003 at 10:35 PM

Emma, they were trying to thump them on the head, but the protesters are just to damn fast. Or maybe they were trying to jam the batons up their butts, so the LAPD would have a protester-on-stick.

No..I Don't feel anything special. The POLICE is to do its duty. Evil roots are present everywhere. They are to be elimenated. The protestors are to be CUT, THROWN and later on SMASHED!!!
